Will not start. Can jump accross the selinoid and starter will crank but engine will not fire. Need to know how to check and bypass all safety switches in order to get fire to spark plug.

The flywheel is turning. Problem appears to be in the Brake Safety switch as well as the Key (ignition) switch not working. I say that because with the ignition switch installed when I turn the key I get nothing. If I remove it and jump across the selinoid it will spin the starter and the motor. I messed around with the brake safely switch and it fired up. I just can't figure out where that switch goes back on or how to just by pass it from the circuit and do away with it. Thanks for your help in advance.

I assume that you are jumping the solenoid in order to bypass an ignition switch that is no longer operating?

If so, did you have the key turned to the run position?

You should not need to bypass any safety switches, just be sure that everything is in the normal starting position. (deck disengaged, in neutral, etc.)

Either way, it sounds like you have a bad ignition switch, or faulty wiring between the ignition switch and the solenoid.

My 2008 chevy Silverado LS won't start I just hear a clicking noise when I try to crank it and the battery seem to be fine

The click sound is the starter selinoid. you can attemt to bypass the selinoid by jumping the two big wires on the starter together and see if the starter spins. But it sounds like your starter is burned up. Time to replace it.

My 1986 ford crown vic selinoid is clicking

Either the solenoid/starter is ad, or the battery is too weak to engage the starter. You can try a jump start to see if the battery is too low. A quick test is to turn on the dome light. If is goes out when you crank the starter, either the starter is drawing way too much current or the battery is too low to crank.

I have an 88 mercury grand marquis sterted drove all day went the next day car wouldnt start someone told me timeing chain jumped replaced that replaced starter selinoid stater spark plugs router router...

Lets start at the beginning.
Did anybody check to see if the timing chain was really in need of replacing ?
Did you replace the starter and solenoid because it would not crank ?
Is it now getting spark to the plugs, and fuel to the injectors ?
Are the injectors getting voltage and a ground signal from the computer ?
Do the cylinders have proper compression ?
Is the rotor in the distributor turning when you crank the engine ?

It is likely you have a draw in the truck. Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5925550-dead_battery_troubleshooting . These are genericinstructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

try over riding the starter relay on the fender ,it has one there right?. dont go to a mechanic yet. the engine aint seized. if it doesnt have this relay then i would get the alternator tested. if you want to test it yourself it can be costly for the right equip. autozone usually tests for free. i dont know were you live so if theres not an autozone. let me know if you cant get it tested.

83 chevrolet s10 won't crank

The starter selinoid(sp) is either bad,  or the starter is loose and not grounded , one of the wires to the selinoid(sp) is off, or the starter itself is bad. Least likly.
