Question about RCA RS2663 Shelf System
This is NOT the solution to this problem. There is a way to reset the entire unit that will fix this problem. I performed this about a year ago, but have been unable to find the procedure again. When I find it I will post it. If anyone else has the "quick reset" procedure, please let us know...

Could be dust or debris (pet hairs etc) on the lazer. Remove the disks and blow gently. There is a lazer cleaning disk which you could try.
