There are some steps to activate showtime anytime on Roku, Tv etc:

Check plug in roku stick and in electrical outlet for a good connection pull out and push back in..Their is a small reset button on ROKU,push it ,it will then show a blinking white light,if not you may have a bad roku stick.
Hook up ROKU stick BEFORE you put batteries in remote,after you put in batteries you will have to push button near batteries.
The remote should start blinking a green light this means it is trying to pair up with roku stick.If it does a purple sceen will appear on tv.Push home button remote and tv should give you a code.This code has to be entered at ROKU site link on computer.

First you have the TV's own remote to get back to regular TV programming by pushing the INPUT Button, Then Call Roku or go to this link I am providing you for help.
