Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. It won't work because Photoshop is smart enough to realize that the source/destination is the same profile. You'll get a "null" transform. Besides, a profile-to-profile conversion will only work if you don't care what happens to the "purity" of the colors. For example, even if both source/destination is the same "colorimetric ally" (both profiles created from same data set), it will still re-separate the image (K-only areas like drop shadows will become a CMYK build). AFAIK, device link profiles are the only way to prevent these sorts of things from happening.

Also, if you're looking for a "Photoshop" solution just for image conversions, you could get the Alwan device link plug-ins to do the conversion and then get either Alwan Link profiler or Left Dakota's Link-o-Later to build the device link itself. Be forewarned that the Alwan plug-ins currently only work with Photoshop CS2. No word on whether they will update them for CS3. Please check this link as well.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Photoshop prints only black and white

I don't know what you mean by 'set for color output', but be careful there is a way to set the printer's 'preferences' through the PS PRINT DIALOG BOX... those settings can be different than your regular printer settings. Look for it when accepting the send to printer parameters.

My datacard printer ribbon is supposed to get upto 500 images, but it is skipping every other color series so I am only getting 250 images

Every time you open the printer, it advances CMYK panel 01 to position the print head. This can cause loss of ribbon. Avoid opening the printer to the maximum you canoptimize your prints.

Nedd to format photo images to a cd from jpeg to tif to1920 pixel

Best solution would be to use Photoshop to resize and change to .tif
You may also want to change from RGB to CMYK since tif files used for printing at commercial print shops need to be cmyk.

I am the Graphic Artist and Printer for a public library. We have a logo that has the Pantone color PMS 375 green in it. I mix my own inks and have no problem reproducing the color properly on a printing...

Laser printers, although they have a larger color gamut than a CMYK offset press, still will not be able to reproduce a majority of Pantone special colors.
Professional inkjet printers, especially those using more than 4 inks, are far better at this - the ink pigments are more color-pure and concentrated than those in laser toners.
Remember, that Windows print drivers work in RGB, and use ICC profiles to convert color data to CMYK components for printer. If you have a CMYK file, and look at it on your monitor, it's converted (using monitor ICC profile) to monitor's RGB colorspace, and then back to CMYK with the printer ICC profile when printed. Converted twice with ICC, which always introduces distortions...
If you have a properly calibrated monitor, and a good printer profile installed, you have better chances of reproducing screen colors on the printer, especially if you work in RGB.
As a simple, but laborious solution, I would suggest preparing "swatch sheets" yourself using some graphics software. Preferrably in RGB, not CMYK. A series of gradients with the green component going from, say, half way to maximum, and other components in various combinations, like R0 B0, R10 B0, R20 B0,... then R0 B10, R10 B10, R20 B10... and so on. Print those, and try to find a spot in the gradients that is the closest to your color sample, and then make swatches with smaller increments around that color to find the best RGB combination.
Good luck :)

I want a copy of CMYK value and coordinates value from info palatte

To copy the CMYK value just fill a box with the color then copy and paste the color to a new document.
To copy the coordinates it may be easier just to do a screen shot so you can see what they are and use for reference in your new document.

Too much ink to few padges printed

The 1000-1500 mark is usually just a guess - it usually assumes no more than 15% coverage of the page.  If you are printing out very large pictures (full page images) or are printing lots of a single color (green landscape images), then the ink will run out a LOT sooner.
