Motorola L6 Mobile phone

Hi
I can't for the life of me get my laptop (XP home) recognise my L6, I bought (Ebay) a mini usb cable and downloaded the required motorola driver software from the vendors. I tried the lot:
USB_668_2000
USBMOT200
USBSER
ser2pl
SER9PL.
I have dowloaded the drivers from motorola (i.e. phone tools) as well, but with no luck.
Help!

there are popup window.
'telephony interfaces cannot successfully started'?
why??

Well if one of you friends have V3i or L7 ask them to give the Phone tools cd they got with it.
Install the program first then plug in you L6.
It worked on my PC

Windows Motorola L6 Mobile Phone USB Driver. Select the correct driver for your computer's operating system:

Download 32-bit version of Windows 2000, XP or Vista USB Driver

Download 64-bit version of Windows XP or Vista USB driver

It’s not advisable for using this driver for data or file transfers. Instead, use the Motorola Phone Tool software.

USB /DATA CABLE TO COMPUTER FROM l6 MOBILE PHONE

first thing you do is install the cd you have, then connect the data cable to one of your usb ports, and connect the phone to it, you'll see a screen same that a new hardware has been detected after that's all done you can just go into my computer and look for removebable drive and look for the pictures there.

Pc cant read my l6

Dear Samir,
You should have recieved the Motorola Phone Tools software cd with the data cable. I bought the usb cable with the software for 350 INR and I have a happy time doing all things including ringtone download to phone and swapping images from pc to mobile and vice-versa.

You need a copy of "Motorola Phone Tools". You can get it on Ebay for a few bucks, but not for free.

I think you will B OK, the Cable you use is BOTH comm's and batt charge the msg ya get is because batt charging is finishd.

How to Copy my files from my L6 cell to computer?

if you have an internet plan on your phone you can send that file throught it. And if your phone has bluetooth and PC with bluetooth you can sync both device without problem. Or if your phone has an external memory capable (SD,MS,Pro,MMC,XD, etc..) put that kind of memory on your phone and save to that external and transfer it to your PC.
