Question about Dell 926 All-In-One InkJet Printer

My printer will not print anything from the computer, says that the printer is not being recognized by the computer. I need this printer desperately for school and due to having so much to do I hate to spend 3-4 hrs on the phone with tech support unless I have to.

The first, your computer have to detect(see the printer when plugging) printer. Try to change USB cable or plug other USB computer socket.The last one,change computer power supply.

My 3640 won't: copy anything, print on executive stationery, obey any commands. It's barely a year old and I am freaked out, since I need it desperately.

Try doing a System Restore of the computer to a date when the printer worked or try reloading the printer drivers from the Epson support site. If these measures don't work you may need a new printer.

Troubleshoot scan for an x3650? I am using an ASUS laptop with windows 7. Desperately tying to scan and send payroll. It's worked previously, but not now.

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.

2. Rebrick (pull out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds).

2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.

4. Reboot your pc.

5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.

6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, then try to print again.

Un install the drivers from the system, connect the printer if its recognizing the printer, install the drivers.. If not recognizing replace formatter...

I just installed driver for my mac to mx2300n printer. When I print a page from my computer the printer heats up and acts like it is going to print, but never picks up a page from the tray and never prints...

For a Mac to print to the Sharp MX-2300N the Postscript Kit (MX-PKX1) has to be installed on the copier. If that is not installed you will not get any mac to print to it.

if your using a usb try to connect it other usb slot see to it that your computer recognized it and you install the appropriate driver for your printer. good luck!!

I have properly installed printer but it wont print HELLLLLP!!!!!!!! When I hit print a window comes up asking how many pages, color when I do that and hit print it wont print. Could it be the cable I am...

First of all, check to see if the computer recognize the printer properly. Right click on My Computer, click on Properties, click on Hardware, and click on Device Manager. In this page click on the + sign next to Ports (COM and LPT). If you see your printer next to (LPT) then it has been recognize by the computer. Now, did you try to test page the printer? That is the first step to a TS. Go to Control panel, Printers and Faxes, right click on the printer that you are having problem with, and click Properties. Here you will see, under the General Tab, Test Page, click it and wait to see if it prints.

Recognizes printer, won't print

What i'm getting at is if the printer was not used for a long time the cartridges may have dried out.
