Hi, Looks as if you have accidentally activated the setting "Ask for Username and Password on StartUp" in SpeedUpMyPC.
To solve this problem, you can repair the Operating system installation if you have the original Windows setup disc. Also, this way you will not lose any of your files and programs on the PC.
For more help, please reply to this post. Thanks.

Is it a MS Windows login prompt? What the name of the login prompt? It could be a malware infesting your system altering your configuration.

If you can't start in Safe Mode, try restarting using the "Last Known Good Configuration"

I need to fully re-install Windows XP, no matter to lose any information on hard disk, I am using my Windows XP CD and the first device for boot is set to be the CD, but I get Boot Manager missing any way....

Step 1:
Open your anti-virus software program and run a full scan on your computer. Delete all quarantined and infected files when the scan is complete. Insert your Windows XP Install CD into your computer's CD/DVD-ROM drive. Restart your computer. Press the "R" button on your keyboard when the screen says "Welcome to Setup." Type in the admin password when prompted. Press "1" and then "Enter" to open the command prompt. Type "fixboot" into the command prompt. Press "Y" when a pop-up box appears, asking you for confirmation. Restart your computer and you should be taken to your desktop.

Reset password on windows 7

OK, if you are running Windows 7, Microsoft tightenedsecurity on it so you've got to have a password reset disk which 99% of thepeople who own laptops with windows 7 fail to do. It should be one of thefirst things you do when you buy the laptop. Otherwise, you're faced withreinstalling the Operating System or possibly doing a System Recovery.

If you're on Windows XP or Vista try this:

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on andimmediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see the Safe Modeoption. Select SAFE MODE and let the computer boot up. When it getsto the User Login screen it will show the Administrator userid and the useridfor which you forgot the password. Sign in as the Administrator (hopefullyyou didn't put a password on it and forgot it too). Once the desktopappears it will look different, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, but this is normal for safe mode.

Click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts
When the User Accounts screen opens, click on the userid for which you forgotthe password. Select the option to REMOVE PASSWORD.

Reboot your machine.
There was a post on here where someone found a site that could remove the windows 7 password and you only paid them a donation fee if it worked. You might want to google windows 7 password removal for donation and see if you can find it. It worked for this person.
Actually I googled it for you and the links are below: Good luck!!!

MRB Error message on Gateway laptop 6510GZ. how can we resolve?

First of all I'm not this smart. I found it and pasted it here for you from:
http://www.pcpowerguide.com/windows/damaged-mbr-error-message/

They get all the credit!

MBR is the acronym for Master Boot Record. The master boot record is located in the boot section of your hard drive, which is the first sector on the first platter. When you boot your computer, the master boot record tells the computer's BIOS (Basic Input Output System) where to find the bootstrap code for the operating system.
So if the MBR is corrupted, the BIOS can't find the operating system and you can get error messages like the following ones:
  • Missing operating system
  • Error loading system
  • Invalid partition table
Looks pretty scary, doesn't it?
However, it is usually not that hard to fix a corrupted MBR and usually the rest f the hard drive is just fine and will boot normally once your fix the master boot record.
What Causes Damage to the MBR? A lot of things can cause damage to the MBR such as viruses designed to corrupt the boot sector. Some of them copy the original MBR to another file. Others do this by overwriting the MBR with virus code. In fact viruses and malware are one of the most frequent causes but, any file can become corrupted especially files that are accessed as frequently as the MBR.
How to Fix the MBR The stapes to fix the MBR are slightly different in the different versions of Windows. So I will cover them separately.
Windows XP
  1. Insert your XP installation disk in the CD-Rom and reboot the computer
  2. When asked, press any key to boot from the CD
  3. When you get the Welcome to Setup screen, press "R" to open the repair console
  4. Enter your administrator password when prompted
  5. At the command prompt, type fixmbr and press enter
  6. When a new command prompt appears, type exit
  7. Remove your installation CD
  8. Restart the computer
Windows Vista
  1. Insert your Vista installation disk in the CD-ROM and reboot the computer
  2. When asked, press any key to boot from the CD
  3. When you get the Install Windows screen, fill in the language and location options and then click Next
  4. Click on the Repair your computer option
  5. Select the Windows Vista operating system and click Next
  6. Enter your administrator password when prompted
  7. In the System Recovery Options, select Command Prompt
  8. When a command prompt appears, type bootrec.exe and press enter to fix the MBR
  9. When a new command prompt appears, type exit
  10. Remove your installation CD
  11. Click Restart in the System Recovery Options window
Windows 7
  1. Insert your Windows 7 installation disk in the CD-ROM and reboot the computer
  2. When asked, press any key to boot from the CD
  3. When you get the Install Windows screen, fill in the language, Time and Keyboard Input options and then click Next
  4. Click on the Repair your computer option
  5. In the System Recovery Options, select Command Prompt
  6. When a command prompt appears, change to the boot directory
  7. Now type bootsect /nt60 SYS and press enter to fix the MBR
  8. When a new command prompt appears, type exit
  9. Remove your installation CD
  10. Reboot the computer

I need to change the access code as some non authorized people are using my photocopier. How can I do that?

I am answering this twice since it appeared twice, If this isnt the code you want to change let me know. I believe this is the one you are asking.

  1. Press the [Log In / Out] button on the Control Panel. The Login screen will be displayed.
  2. Enter the System Administrator userID using the numeric keypad on the Control Panel, or select the [Keyboard] button on the Touch Screen to enter the userID, and then select [Save] on the Touch Screen.
  3. If necessary, enter the System Administrator password using the numeric keypad, or select the [Keyboard] button to enter the password, and then select [Save] on the Touch Screen.

NOTE: The default userID is 11111, and the default password is x-admin (must be entered in lower case). If the userID and / or password have been forgotten, a service call must be placed.

  4. Select [Confirm] on the Touch Screen. The System Administrator Menu screen will be displayed.
  5. Select [System Settings]. The System Settings screen will be displayed.
  6. Select [System Administrator Settings]. The System Administrator Settings screen will be displayed.
  7. Select [System Administrator Login ID]. The System Administrator Login ID screen will be displayed.

That problem you dont need to restart the system then you will only click not at this time ebuttom that appear on your screen ok now that there is now a problem now you will have to format that system because if to say it prompt for user password i would have ask you to use the administrator now the administrator you will have to reformat or try and remove the CMOS battery first and lets see if that will work for it or the administrator try and ask that person that does he or she tampper with the administrator password before if he says no then just type in administrator in the password and if it works then thats it and if idont format it ok.Rate this solution.
