The problem with the fabric softener not dispensing is not likely related to and F03 error code due to the washer not draining.

For the dispenser problem, I recommend that you pull the dispenser drawer out and clean it thoroughly. The fabric softener dispenser works on a siphoning principle. Make sure that the siphon hole in the dispenser is clear and not restricted or plugged. You can fill the fabric softener compartment with water and make sure that it is siphoning properly while you are cleaning it. Make sure that the cover is properly replaced on the fabric softener dispenser when the drawer is replaced in the washer. You can use the diagnostic test described below to test the fabric softener dispenser. If the softener dispenser does not fill and dispense properly, you could have a failed dispenser valve, a failed control board or a wiring failure between components.

You indicated that you tested the pump and that it is good. You could have a clogged drain hose or a clogged washer drain that would prevent the washer from draining. You could also have a failed drain pump even though it runs. If the impeller is jammed or damaged, it will not pump out the water in the washer. You will likely need to unplug the washer and drain the water out of the tub using a wet/dry shop vacuum. To check the pump and drain hose at the bottom of the washer, remove the bottom front service panel and remove the drain pump as shown in the second image below. You may find a clog or restriction in the drain pump or connecting hoses. If the drain pump is damaged or will not work, it will need to be replaced.

What does code f03 mean

An F03 error code on many front load washers indicates a failure to drain properly. You can usually clear this fault code by pressing the pause/cancel button. Next, check the drum for water. If the drum still has water in it, restart a drain and spin cycle. This should drain the water from the tub.

If your washer will not drain, check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. Make sure that the drain hose is not stuck more than 8 inches down the stand pipe.

If you do not hear your drain pump running, you may have a problem with your control or your drain pump. Also, if your pump is making a loud noise, it may be clogged. These problems would require service by a technician.

Problem with spinning clothes

Hi

Error code F03 on Kenmore means that there is draining problem or a filling issue with the washer. Check if the washer is draining; also make sure that it is not kinked or clogged. If the drain hose is not kinked then next thing to check is Drain Pump. Check out this link to disassemble your washer---

Kenmore Washer disassembly

Now, check the drain pump for any blockages. Make sure that you have a container to collect water when you open drain hoses from the pump as it has a lot of water inside.

If the drain pump is fine then it is an issue with filling of washer. Check whether washer is filling and the pressure is fine. Also, make sure you check the softener dispenser. Pull the dispenser drawer out and clean it thoroughly. Make sure that the siphon hole in the dispenser is clear and not restricted or plugged. Please post back for any further assistance.

Front load frigidaire washer w/ error code F03....doesnt want to drain. Tried spin/drain, delicates, and normal and all end up with F03!! Please help!!! Thanks Royce

The F03 code is a problem with your water system. your inlet valves may have failed.

Open up the bottom panel and you will find a tech sheet that explain the codes and gives trouble shooting techniques. here is the service manual, good luck, hope this helps......

My front load Kenmore washer has a f03 code on the screen. It is not draining the water and it is not doing a max spin. What do you think I need to do?

F03 error code means that there is either fill problem, a drain problem or a water level pressure switch failure .

First ensure the machine is filling.
When the drain system is causing the F03 error do the following.

Ensure that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged.

If the drain hose is OK check the drain pump.

Start unplugging washer from main and remove the service panel at the bottom.

Follow the instructions on manual to remove panel.

Access the water pump and remove the hoses, clear any blockage in there.

Use a container to collect the water, be prepared. If machine has lot of water inside, remove some water with a sponge before undoing the pump.
