We just purchased this trailer to stay in while our house is being repaired from hurricane harvey. it's now turned cold and we were told to use space heaters to save on our propane. we can only plug in one with out it blowing the breaker ( just the plug breaker, not the main breaker ) our trailer is a sandpiper 365saq 2012 41' long 4 slide outs. it get really cold with only one heater!!

The heater in your car depends upon a flow of hot coolant going through the heater core in order to get hot air into the car. If the heater core is partially plugged, it will restrict the flow. If you have a head gasket that is putting exhaust into the cooling system, it will eventually get into the heater core. When this happens there is no coolant in the heater core to make the air warm. If the water pump vanes have corroded away the result will be very poor coolant circulation causing the heater to not blow hot air. If your car is equipped with a heater control valve that is not functioning properly, the coolant flow will be restricted. One or a combination of these factors is likely the culprit in your case.
if the car is not overheating, the thermostat is working fine.... replace or flush the heater core multiple times to try and eliminate sediment build-up.
SOURCE: Faulty Fan Heater - The main vents are just blowing out cold air.
all cars have a recycled air weather its called max or just recycle its doing the same thing. So if your getting cold air in one spot and hot in another it means your vents are not blocking where they are suposed to. It could be just a simple fix, by getting into the dash where your vent controls are and looking at the flap that tells air where it can and cant go. if its stuck then it needs to be cleaned and oiled. If the cable is corrodend clean it and oil it so it can move freely, or just reconnecting it may be the fix. it sounds like you are going to have to be adventurous, and play with the mechanics of your vents. Typicaly theres really nothing tough there to work on, just REMEMBER WHEERE ALL THE SCROOS AND CLIPS GO. I have forgotten where a few went in the past and had to listen to sqeaking noises till I took it apart again. There are vent seals wich are no more than the weather stripping you buy at the hardware store the 1/8 inch thick tape. You may need to thin it down with a razor, usually not. but it works great for fixing the seals in car heaters, because its the same thng just a different color. Which no one will ever see.

It sounds to me that your air flow is restricted somewhere. The first thing to check is your air filter. If that gets real dirty your restricted air flow will cause the hi-limit(hi temperature limit switch) in your heat exchanger compartment to over heat and open up your gas valve electrical circuit, thus, shutting off the gas to your burners. After the hi-limit switch cools down the furnace will go back to heating again then it will overheat again(you get the picture?) If it keeps cycling on and off like that the house will never get warm if it is cold outside. If your air filter is reasonably clean(you should be able to see light thru it easily) then the secondary heat exchanger could also be dirty, this is located above the indoor fan housing, you would need to pull the indoor blower assembly out of the furnace and look up above. The secondary heat exchanger looks similar to a radiator will fins. You can use a medium stiff plastic brush to brush the dirt, hair, whatever off of it. Another problem spot would be the cooling evaporator coil (if you have central airconditioning) located most likely above the furnace in the plenum(if your furnace is in a basement). This usually is difficult to access if an access cover wasn't installed when the airconditioning was installed. I would recommend an experience service tech to clean it for you. Also make sure all you supply air registers and return air registers are open . These are the things I would check first. Good luck!!
SOURCE: warm morning propane heater. new thermal couple.
There are basically three things that can go wrong with the Warm Morning .
Sensor shut off. There is a sensor button on
the back of the unit with a wire going from it to the
thermocouple. This sensor turns the heater off if the flue is blocked,
however it will also shut the heater off if the wire contacts are
dirty, or if the sensor has gone bad.
You can test this by bypassing the sensor. Disconnect the two wires
from the sensor and reconnect them directly together. If the pilot stays on,
your problem is here. Try cleaning the wire contacts first.
Pilot orifice. If the pilot flame is small and doesnt look healthy, the pilot orifice may need cleaning. The hole is very small and can get dirty. Disconnect the silver tube and clean with electrical parts cleaner. Never try to clean the hole with an object like a pin, you may damage it. You may have to slide out the burner unit to get at the silver tube. (Always shut off gas before disconnecting lines and after you
reassemble, spray joints with soapywater and look for small bubbles
which may indicate a gas leak. Dont use parts cleaner around an open flame.)
Thermocouple can go bad but this is not as common as the first two problems.
