You have to take the screw out of the top of the smoke stack closest to the cab and put in about three drops of 3-in-1 oil. Put the screw back in and try it. If that doesn't do it replace battery/s. If that doesn't work either, the engine switch may have been left on without any smoke liquid in it and may have burned smoke unit out.

Locomotive no longer smokes

If the smoke unit was working, and no longer does, it may be burned out. Did you turn the unit off after running it out of fluid? If not, it will need to be replaced. The switch is behind the smokke box door on the front of the boiler. I'm not sure if the smoke unit is a warranty replacement part, but a check with Bachmann Parts & Services & they will give you an answer.

I'm not familiar with the Dash 9-44 CW but it may be that the sound and smoke switches are turned off. You will probably find these under a removable cover on top of the locomotive or under it, usually near the cab. Check your instructions or go to Lionel.com and click on support. Instructions and manuals can be found here.

I need instructions for brinkman smoker grill how to smoke

Hi,
I have a Weber Smoky Mountain which is similar to the Brinkman. I learned how to smoke by going to the VIRTUAL BULLET website. www.vertualwebberbullet.com. Also, going to the many forums on smoking helps.

Don't get upset if things don't work out the first time....keep on trying!

If you go to :
