Try unpluging the fan and letting it heat up until you get the 2 red lights. shut it off and wait about 15 min. plug your fan back in and start it up

Xbox has got one red flashing light bottom right on the ring

this is caused by the graphix chip solder connections coming apart. Due to the method and type of solder used it is quite common in older xbox models. If you xbox is still under warrenty then that is the best solution. Otherwise there are many do it yourself fixes on the web. It will require resoldering of the graphix chip which has a large heat sink on top of it. I have an old xbox with this same problem, I have installed the xclamp modification and then some and still fight with this error. Search of xbox xclamp modification for more info on this problem.

How do i fix one flashing red light on my elite i get an error code e74

if its under 3 years old its a free fix from microsoft, just go to microsoft website and log in or create an account, put your seral number in where it says add console,go to support and request repair, they will email you a postage label, print it,then follow link in email to get your console picked up,it for repair or replacment, will be back to you in about 2 weeks from date picked up.if not under warranty an xclamp kit will repair it,it takes about 1 1/2 hours to do but very easy, look on youtube on how to open xbox and also how to replace xclamps.hope this helps

My xbox 360 has the RROD Error code 0110 Need Help Fixing

If you truly were able to re-solder the memory module joints and are still getting this error, then make sure there is NO dust in the vents and heat sinks. Otherwise, the memory solder still needs to be re-flowed. There are many ways to do this. If you have an infrared soldering apparatus you are all set :D, but if you have one of those you are not the type to be asking how to fix electronics here. Here is a decent tutorial on reflowing with a heat gun:

The other method is an oven... bit trickier. I'd stick to a heat gun.

How to fix e73 error code for xbox 360

i personally have fixed most e73 errors by replacing the xclamps, re heating all the solder on the mainboard and replacing the heatsink paste with new.

e73 errors when searched for on the net say its something to do with the ethernet port BUT ive found it to be the lead free solder on the mainboard around the ethernet port which is at fault not the port itself.

you need to search the net for 3rrod fix and you need to do this yourself or take it to a repair center if your unsure how to do it.

out of 50 e73 errors ive fixed around 49 doing what i mentioned above.

run a search for 3rrod guides on the net or youtube.

if you get stuck email me

While taking off the Xclamps,

Once you scratch the motherboard you cant do anything about it, there is no hardware out there that will replace it, and Microsoft sure wont fix it for you since you have opened it up and broken the warranty. It sounds like you tried to fix the 3 red lights error, you know of you sent it of to Microsoft without touching it they would have fixed it for free.

I have a xbox 360 that has an E73 code. I tried the toothpick thing and it didn't work. Are there any other suggestions other than sending it in for repairs

if it is still under warranty I strongly suggest to send it Microsoft. if not, you can do the xclamp replacement trick, you can check for tutorial videos. IMHO xclamp replacement doesnt seem to fix the problem permanently though.

One red light - Error: E 68 - Problem code 0110

Hard Drive Error... It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it, This can also be caused by a Hard Drive Eprom Error.

We offer a repair service.
