Verifone unable to start after reboot

Normally this will mean you have to replace the terminal.
but first see if it will reboot.
1 unplug the power supply from the side of the terminal. Wait 60 seconds and plug the power back in.
2. press the F3 button this should take you to the main screen you use for transactions. press sale and run a card to test. if it works you have successfully rebooted.
if not.....
3. press F2/F4 at the same time and release them. you should be prompted for a password-
4 1 alpha alpha (located above the #2 key) 66831 then press the green enter key
5. select the F key next to Start- if start is not displayed on screen press the purple more key which is located to the far left.
after you press the F key next to start- it should reboot your machine- it takes a few minutes of seeing words flash on the screen. once you are on the default screen choose the F3 key and it should take you to the main screen where you perform transactions.
if you can not do these two things to get a reboot on your terminal you will need to call your merchant service provider and ask about getting a replacement. remind your merchant service provider if you have transactions in the terminal that did not get sent to the bank you will need them to either force them to go through or provide you with the card # information so you can enter these transactions in your new terminal.

try to turn it off. get the network cable out the machine. wait 1 minute. press 6-stop-powersave (all 3 at the same time, powersave top right corner) With these buttons pressed, start the machine and keep the buttons down until machine is fully started.

To Reboot the Verifone VX510 or VX570 terminal you will press the "F2" and "F4" buttons at the same time. When it prompts you for the password, you will enter it (this depends on which credit card provider you use) and it will bring you to a "sys mode menu 1" screen. The "F4" option should give you a "RESTART" option, which is the same as rebooting the machine.

Simultaneously press [F2] & [F4].Key in 1, Alpha, Alpha, 66831 and press [Enter].Select CLOCK [F3].Key in the Year, the Month and the Day and then press [Enter]. Do not press [Enter] between these values, the terminal will automatically populate the appropriate fields as they are entered. Use the down arrow to scroll down to check/adjust the time. Key in the hour, using military format (ex: 3 p.m. = 15), then key in the minutes and press [Enter] to complete and return to Menu 1. Do not press [Enter] between these values, the terminal will automatically populate the appropriate fields as they are entered.when finish Select Restart [F4].

bad RTC can be repaired. the machine is equipped with multiple sensors inside. if one of them goes bad, or the Battery is dead tampering or bad RTC will show this can be fix by replacing the sensor and or the battery if you need this to be done call me @ (775) 358-2922 hope this help : - )

Turn off and unplug the Verifone 3750. Wait for five seconds or so and then plug it back in. This will automatically reset the Verifone 3750 and it will reboot and restart.

Reset the shift. Resetting the shift is another reset option available for Omni. Press "Shift," then "#," followed by "1" to reset and change the shift.

Press "Shift," then "#," then "2" to stop a change and keep the shift on the current settings.

verefone the terminal has a problem in the display shows bad rtc chip, as I can compose for it functioning properly again?

Hit the F2 and F4 button on the top right of your terminal.
Password is 1 ALPHA ALPHA 66831.
Then choose F4 restart.
