I have lost my manual for model 75077 acurite. I replaced battery. Now all I have is a blank screen. Can you help me reset it? Please.

Remove the batteries from both indoor and outdoor unit. Leave them out for 10 minutes. Replace the outdoor sensor with a new battery (2xAA), and then new batteries in the main unit (3xAA).

My National Geographic Weather Station is the opposite. The outside sensor only indicates the temperature, but the single CR2023 battery lasts a year. The inside unit on my desk lasts around 5 - 6 months and lets me know if needs a battery by showing the outside temperature as ' -- '

Although the manual says 'rechargeable batteries are not recommended', I would try 4 Sanyo Eneloop batteries. Or you could contact Acurite Support and ask them if your battery use is excessive?

Here's the manual for the AcuRite Weather Forecaster. If it's not showing the outside temperature, make sure the A-B-C switch is set to match the display unit. There is no reset button, installing new batteries causes the sensor to reset itself.

Try removing and re-installing the batteries.
