Yes, you have to select two sided original then setup the e-mail address to send.

first off the side bars printing is the direct result of the settings you are using. and must be readjusted. accordingly. The light gray print sounds like a combination of 2 separate settings, the "economode" that is set on the printer itself, and a similar setting in your print mode on the computer (never use both, only one or the other).

How do i scan a document from printer to email


First of all you must scan your documents/photos on your computer. Now follow the instruction step by step. 1. Open your mail. 2. Click new on the top of your task bar. 3. Enter the email address that which you choose to send your mail. 4. Type the subject. for example Marksheet/photo and so on. 5. Click the attach files button and click choose file. 6. Now load your picture/documents.... 7. After load your document press attach file. 8. Your mail is ready to send.... thanks

This sounds like you have the incorrect DEFAULT program set. You did not mention anything specific about your machine, so detailed help is not possible. you need to reset the default e-mail program.

A workaround is to generate the word document, and save it on your hard drive, go to your mail client and start your e-mail and then attach the word document.

NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PRINT MORE THAN 1 ENVELOPE AT A TIME. DO LETTERS AND ENVELOPES ONCE A WEEK BUT THE PRINTER WOULD ONLY PROCESS 1 ENVELOPE AT A TIME AND I HAD TO DO THAT ONE MANUALLY.

For printing bulky letters or documents of the same format, I suggest you use the MS word mail merge document. You need to set up the mail merge document and the data of the file. For examples, the list of names, addresses telephone numbers and others should be input to the envelops.

Here's how to create mail merge document file.


1. Open a new blank MS word document or if you have a format already in a MS word format, just use it as default letter.

2. Go to menu bars (Home, Insert, Page Layout, References, Mailing, Review and View) and choose Mailing.

3. From Mailing, click on select recipients, choose use existing lists and find the excel document files that stores all the information like list of customers, company names, addresses, telephone numbers and others.

4. Open it and select table will appear and just click ok to merge it automatically to your default envelope.

5. Now you need to set up or format your envelope. from the Mailing menu, Insert Mail Merge Field will appear and click it to display the headings of your data source. Put the headings wherever you want.

6. After that, press preview result to display the datas. Save your work and it is finished

Don't know how to use OCR scan function.

i beleive we have the complete setting detail with us.
1. Press the [Send] tab.
2. Press [Address Book] ([File] or [E-mail] also acceptable).
3. Choose an e-mail address. Press [OK].
4. Press [File Format]. Set to [PDF OCR]. Scan Settings
default to 300 x 300 dpi.
5. Choose [Send Settings]. Add [Name] and [Subject]
to the e-mail.
6. Or choose [Doc. Name OCR] to automatically name
document using initial characters of document text.
7. Press [Done].
8. Place the document on the platen glass or in the ADF.
9. Press [Start] to send document.

Can a scanned document be retrieved after the fact?


anything you copy or scanned does not store in harddrive...it erase instantly after it sends it or copies it. it's a information security regulation...but if you e-mailed it it should be in a workstation cpu folder.. normally called SCAN folder.

Scanner Seperates Documents


Are you using the scan to e-mail option on the copier? If yes, then maybe the fragmented document option is activated. This causes the copiers to seperate each page into an individual document.
If it's only one user, then it might be the way his e-mail adresse was put into the address book. Check that entry.

How to scan and e-mail a text document


Add the email address where you have to send mail in the device front panel. Click the ScanTO button on the device.Device should be connected to network and mail exchange server should be setup. Scan the document and sent it.
