Question about Coby MP-705 Digital Media Player
I have songs on my Coby MP705 4gig which have been deleted through WMP but still remain on the Coby. According to WMP, these tracks are no longer on my Coby, so how do I really erase them?
I agree with profalwg, use Windows Explorer. When you connect the player's USB cable to the computer, a window should open...click on the option to open with Windows Explorer. If you delete files and they still don't go away (happens sometimes) go into the player's Setup menu & change the USB setting to MSC. Doing this corrects 99% of player recognition problems. Hope this helps!

Have you downloaded Coby Media Manager? You should be able to delete files through that. Also, have you used Windows Explorer to delete any files. It is better than using My Computer.
