Frigidaire affinity model farg4044mwo control panel doesn't come on the only light that comes on is the clean lint filter and that goes out when you push start. Unplugged it let it set ,plug it back in and the blue clean vent screen comes back on . No display at all . 120 at the outlet . Door switch seems to be working? Checked all limits with a meter they all ohm out ok? Thinking it might be the display board but not sure? Mother board was replaced by appliance company last Feb ?

Have you checked the door switch, thermal fuse on the heater housing(this will keep it from starting).

Problem resolved. Although the membrane control panel passed the diagnostic test, it was defective. Probably a low voltage conductor went to ground, allowing the buttons to operate but throwing the control board into error mode.

have you checked the thermal fuse, if bad replace and clean vent.

First check to see if a drive died. Unplug all the drive Floppy, hard and dvd or burns. I have come across many time that a drive will die and keep motherboard from booting. Being that you say you get a green light on the motherboard shows that the power suppy is providing some power. But for some reason the internal self test is faulting the power suppy. I have not come cross any bad power supplies killing a motherboard. But I have come across power supplies killing drives. The power switch is a normal open switch so the only time you be able test continuity on it is if you hold the switch in, or the closed position.

replace the igniter. The ignitor is the most comon problem with gas appliances checking continuity does not tell you if it is bad or not it has to draw a certain amount of amps to open the gas safty valve and the is no safe way to check this on most gas dryers
If the unit is washing properly, as far as you can tell, but it won't stop spinning, then I would have a professional look at the control panel and timer to be diagnosed because there seems to be in miscommunication.
