Question about LG 24 in. LDS 5811ST Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

Dishwasher stench It's BAD. I had the dishwasher guy out - there's nothing in the filter. He said everything was fine - run shome dishwasher cleaner thru it. We tried that - no good. I looked online and saw there should be a loop in the hose (there was not). I got that taken care of. That guy said run some bleach thru it after and we'd be fine. I did. Still stniks. It's okay right after we run it, but gets skanky in about 2 days after running. I had another plumber today for something else. he said the drainpipe looks fine, replacing the dishwasher probably wouldn't help either, but he doesn't know what it is. I asked if we should replace the drainage hose - like if stuff got gunked up in there before the loop was in the hose. He said it wouldn't drain if there was. I said even a small film of nasty gunk? He insisted the drainpipe was okay. HELP!

Residue left on crockery and glasses after the cycle has finished. All filters are clear, have run through a dishwasher cleaner, checked salt level and rinse aid and changed to a more up market brand of...

The problem is most likely that there is still water residue at the bottom of your machine. If the machine is not fully drained it picks up some of the residue and sprays that onto the dishes during the final rinse, leaving an unhealthy and unsightly film on everything.
Remove the bottom strainers plates and make sure that the outlet pipe is not kinked, that there is nothing obstructing the pipe or the pump or selector valve. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine once more before using it again.

the filter in the bottom of washer iss full of crud.. it pulls out so you can clean it.. do this and get a bottle of dishwasher cleaner and run your washer on a hot cycle with just the cleaner in and it should be fine afterwards

Kemmore dishwasher not disolving detergent packet

Either:

1. the water does not get into the dishwasher open the dishwasher 3-4 times during cycle, you should see some water at least once, if not - check water valve, water level float and water pressure.
2. the pump is clogged - there is water, the motor will run but no water is circulated. Check pump filters, check chopper and impeller.
3. motor in main pump is not working - could be caused by something stuck on the impeller or chopper or could be a problem with the motor itself or control board. Check if line voltage is coming to the motor during wash/rinse cycle.

Good luck,

The dishwasher has a bad smell coming from it

First step is to clean the filter, which normaly requires a phillips screwdriver. -Clear anything that does not belong inside. -check for grease or residue and wipe off, using a grease cleaner if avaialble. -Re-assemble the dishwasher. -Place a glass or cup, filled with white vinegar inside (on either rack) and run a normal cycle withour adding dw detergent. -Check for any further odor.
-Recommend you always avoid using gels or tablets. Rather a good quality, dry powder cleaner (like Cascade or Electrosol) -Keep the rinse agent filled up
Good Luck!

Chalky dishes in dishwasher

Are you in a location with "hard" water, meaning that the water has alot of minerals in it like calcium? If so, you may may need to get the water treated with a water softener system, either at the dishwasher or for the whole house.
