Is your set under warranty? If not, bite the bullet now and get the service manual - you will need it sooner or later.
Whether there is a way to reset the warning or not, a solution is needed for the problem of restricted airflow and you will need to take off teh back panel and blow out the dust using compressed air and while your in there, look for any filters in front of the fans.

Where is reset button located on whirlpool split ac front panel? (Mastermind series chrome). Though I cleaned my filter the "filter" light is still glowing and hence i need to reset it but I am not finding...

Look real hard on the remote. There is a mini "use a ballpoint pen" push to reset filter button on the remote.

Electronic control panel: (not all models)
Hold the mode button and the Temp Up arrow depressed for about 5 seconds. It should display the temp and the FL should disappear.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

The error code E1 is lit on the front panel of room air conditioner. The instuction book is lost and I can't locate the model number. It says energy star and comfort touch and come with an remote...

E1 is refering to the air filter. If turning the unit off and unplugging doesn't reset it then you probably have a PC board or sensor failure. None of these units can actually detect a dirty air filter. All it does is set a timer that turns the E1 on after what the manufacture determines is average.
Hope that helps.........

At exactly 120,000 miles the service 4w drive warining shows up on my panel. Is that a actual warning or do they just want me to bring it in because im at 120, 000 miles?

It is an actual warning. The 4wd is not like an emission warning where it has to be checked to make sure it still passes emissions. You need to get the codes checked to see what could be causing the light to come on.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Camera having error WARNING FOCUS LOCK

Hello there! Focus ring lock means that some how the focus ring is not turning freely. If it turns easilly then inside the optocoupler unit which reads out the movement of ring must be dust or the flexicable. Therefore somehow the camera should be disassembled got cleaned by pressurized air in case of dust and reassembled and hopefully it should work without problem.

The clean your filter warning sign comes up and then shuts the projector down in 1 min. I have changed the lamp and filter. How do i reset the timer for the Lamp Hours and get rid of the warning?

Once the filter is replaced, plug the projector back in and make sure the projector is in standby mode.  Point the remote control at the projector and press the following buttons in order in less than 3 seconds: reset, ←, →, enter.  This worked for me.  Good luck.

Panasonic PT-60LCX64 Air Filter Cleaning

Cleaning filter for the Panansonic PT-501LCX64.

I just had a T.V. tech do this. The filters are located on the two removable filters on the back side of the T.V. They look like the speaker units. He removed those two units, unplugged them & set them on the floor. He took some type of electronic cleaner with a cloth & wiped them down. The filters themselves are plastic. He explained that air flows through some tube connected to these plastic filters for cooling down below. He admitted they didn't look dirty--put everything back together & it is working fine now.

I imagine that dirty or not the timer is automatically set for every 400 hrs. of use to give you the prompt that the filter needs cleaning & will shut off in one minute so you can call a T.V. tech?

So to reset the timer--follow the other detailed prompts listed on this board & or use your owners manual & follow the prompts for replacing the bulb. That should take you somewhere to reset the timer--so you have another 400 hours of operation.

I believe it's with the T.V. turned off--hold down the down volume on your tv itself while holding the swap button on the remote control for 5-7 seconds---then follow the prompts. You should see a prompt for replacing a bulb & then one for filter cleaning. Then just reset the timer.

Hopefully this will help?
