Yes, that is a standard policy on many servers.

Yes, it sucks when you are the one sending them.

However, you have got to take some satisfaction that the person that wants to send you and 25 of your friends an ad for Viagra can't do it either.

It is just the nature of the world that when someone abuses a service everyone pays for it.

You should be able to use multiple email accounts to get around this problem. Try making another Yahoo account and/or get one from another free provider like Hotmail.

You can also stay in touch with a large group by using sites like FaceBook where you can organize groups and post information instead of sending it to everyone.

BTW: TYPING IN CAPS IS CONSIDERED TO BE YELLING TO EXPERIENCED EMAIL USERS. Please avoid using all caps as a courtesy to all of the nice people here at FixYa.

I hope this helps.

Why are my emails not getting sent

There are two ways to respond via Yahoo email. One is to simply click on "reply" which will enter the recipients email address for you. The second is to click "compose" which will necessitate you entering the email recipient address yourself into the proper field. After completing your message using either method, click "send" and your email will be on its way.

Cannot send email, comes back with 'the following recipients are invalid'. How do I fix this?

Instead of typing in the recipients email address, enter that address in your contacts lists. Then when u go to enter the address, click on 'contacts' and then click the recipients address. Make sure you have the address entered correctly. Dont use capital letters if the address doesnt contain them. And no spaces either!

I can't send any mail to yahoo mail client I recieve the return-mail said as shown below; Sent from Mail Delivery System <Mailer-Daemon@sv.mydomainservers.net> This message was created...

This is probably because your Yahoo account to which you are trying to send in emails to has some typing error in it, or it is not active and is deactivated for some or the other reason.

How do I unsend aol email through firefox ?

Go to the Sent folder in AIM Mail or AOL Mail.
Make sure the box in front of the message you want to unsend is checked.
  • You can also check multiple messages to take them all back at once,
Click the Unsend button.
Click Unsend again.

Note that you can (effectively) unsend an email only if:

The message was sent to AOL recipients only.
You cannot take back an email if it also has been delivered to internet recipients, not even from AOL recipients.
You sent the message from AOL itself, not from an email client using IMAP and SMTP to access an AOL email account.
The message has not yet been read by any recipient.

How do I send group emails keeping everyones details private?

Compose a new mail. Just type all the email addresses, separated by comma, in the BCC box of the email. A BCC (blind carbon copy; also Bcc) is a copy of an email message sent to a recipient whose email address does not appear in the message. The emails will be delivered to all recipients keeping the details of every other recipients as private.

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

Returned Email for TOO MANY EMAIL RECIPIENTS?

From the looks of it Yahoo wont let you send an email to 420 Email addresses at one time.. so yah... i guess send out emails to like a few people not 400 at a time and you should be fine...

This is probably in place so that people can't take there mailing list and send out thousands of emails at once..... spam prevention

Try sending to fewer recipients at a time. I've used Yahoo for nearly 15 years and have never seen that error.
