SOURCE: Midland rechargeable battery packs won't recharge and vibrate

Hello batterbum, from the info you listed you have the right battiers & charger, with alkaline the radios work leads to wrong or a bad batch of Ni-MH battiers. Vibrations from a battery pack states too much current being drawn for battery capacity. Note: depleting a battery and recharging with a charger will place the battery in a false full charge state. Recharging a depleted battery with a DC power supply with current limit can reboot the battery to a 90% cycle. I suggest returning battiers for correct replacements, if they are correct 'by the book' ask for the highest in mAhr specs. Please inform me of your outcome. Good Luck

SOURCE: midland radio battery pack constant vibrate

Hello pjbracht, I just responed to a duplicate of your problem. If they are new, return the battiers and confirm they are "by the book" replacements. If so ask for replacemrnts with a higher mAhr. It is not correct for vibration from a battery pack, lead, NiCad, Ni-MH, period.

Trying to get our Motorola (yellow/ black) to communicate with Midland two way radios. They Midland will receive messages from Motorola, but they can not send to it Motorola.

Most likely your CTCSS tone codes are not turned on on the Midland radios. The CTCSS codes are also known as "Privacy Codes" or similar.
They will be from 1 to 38. Your Midland manual will tell how to set the codes on the radios. The Motorolas usually show the selected tone code below the channel number.
Alternately, you may be able to turn off the tone code on the Motorola radio(s) by setting it to "0" or "off". Then you will not need codes turned on on any of your radios and they should all communicate fine.

Midland rechargeable battery packs won't recharge and vibrate

You might contact Midland Radio Corp to see if they have a fix for your problem. If I had to give an educated guess I would say the batteries need jump started (which sometimes happens when they are new and too low of charge; or there is a problem where they contact the charger and they are not receiving a full charge; or they are defective. I am sure the factory would be happy to assist you in solving the issue.

Here is there info: http://www.midlandradio.com/contact_us.asp
