Need to buy a "paper separation pad kit" once you get the new pad,remove the toner cartridge and with a long phillips screwdriver remove two screws that holds the paper feed roller,remove the roller and now you have a full view of the separation pad,with a little flat screwdriver PEEL the rubber from both separation pads the old inside the printer and the new one you just got,put the new rubber sep pad in the printer and put the paper feed roller back.....printer will work as new again....

My printer says that there is a paper jam but there is no paper in it.

Check the pick up rollers, this is a very common issue. If it mispicks and leaves the paper in the tray, it will code a jam. Damp cloth and clean the pick up rollers inside the tray.

Printer mispick

Hi ,
The print engine has failed to pick up a piece of media.There is a paper jam in the printer's paper path. Reload the paper in the paper input tray; verify that there are no jams in the paper path, and press MENU/ENTER to continue the job. If the error persists, replace the printer pickup roller. Check paper path, including rear output door for jams, fuser area, and under the print (toner) cartridge.

Printer error as stated "Printer Mispick [Enter] to resume." There was a mispick but that was corrected; however the error message is constant.

Hi:
I own a HP Laserjet 3330, and usually all that it takes to fix this problem is cleaning off the paper pick up roller with a damp cloth.

It is having trouble picking up the paper sheets, and you will get the error time after time. It seems that the recycled paper is worse than others. Remember to use a cloth dampened with only water, as other cleaners will dry out the pick up roller

Paper intermittently no picking up from cassette,

since this problem is intermittent, it won't be a broken mechanics issue. always make sure to set the paper guides in the tray exactly to the specified paper size, but do not place them too tight around the paper, since this will result in paper mispicks or jams. if re-positioning these guides doesn't solve your problem, it's probably the paper you're using.

MISPICK ERROR MESSAGE- CANNOT PRINT.

Hi,

It sounds like your pick up rollers need to be either cleaned or replaced. If the problem is happening at the top where you feed paper to be scanned, you can lift up that top cover to expose the pick up rollers. Just rotate the rollers backwards carefully and clean with alcohol and q-tip, if you have something like goo gone that would be perfect.

If the problem is happening at the bottom in the tray, open the door like you're about to replace the toner cartridge and remove it. There will be a little roller down in there, It's simple to take out the roller, but if you're not comfortable with taking it out, you can just clean it like the above rollers.

Recurring error

This answer was almost exactly correct:

>hey guys, for the "printer mispick" problem, try to remove the >toner and look IF there's any paper jam inside,because this >solved my problem,..
>=open toner door
>=remove the toner
>=look carefully IF there's any paper stuck between roller
>=CAUTION - carefully and gently remove the paper if so, as it >will be a nightmare if half tear off and the half end will be more >difficult to remove,...

The only thing I did differently, that worked like a charm, was to =open the door on the other side of the machine, and
=swing down the two green levers (one on each side); this released the roller tension and removal of the paper was easy.
=Once the paper has been gently removed, put back up the two green levers, and
=close everything up, re-installing the toner cartridge as you do.

This procedure is described relating to a different error, but it resets and clears everything and would be worth a try http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=110&prodSeriesId=66359&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=66359&objectID=bpl10206 hp says for your specific error: "Reload the paper in the paper input tray; verify that there are no jams in the paper path, and press MENU/ENTER to continue the job. If the error persists, replace the printer pickup roller. Check paper path, including rear output door for jams, fuser area, and under the print (toner) cartridge." here is the complete guide to all the above http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=110&prodSeriesId=66359&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=66359&objectID=bpl11283 ask again if you need more Hope this helps :)
