The lcd cable on your phone may be coming loose. You can try the procedure at the link below and reseat it.

Failing that, a new screen will do the trick.

I changed my fonts and colors and I don't know how I did it? Now I would like my original screen back Help please?

You may have inverted the colors from the accessibilty menu. Try and turning it off by doing the following:

  1. Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap on General.
  3. Now scroll down and tap on Accessibility.
  4. You'll see an option for Invert Colors in the first set of options. Toggle the switch to the OFF position.

Hope that helps!

VERTICAL HOLD CONDENSED TO SINGLE LINE IN MIDDLE OF SCREEN.USED TO ROCK IT TO GET FULL SCREEN,BUT THAT NO LONGER WORKS. I KNOW THE CHIP IS LOOSE BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE IT IS SO I CAN REPLACE IT.

Hi,
IF YOU HAVE A SOLID BLACK LINE RUNNING VERTICALLY THEN YOU HAVE A FAULTY MATRIX INVERTER. IF CENTRAL THE MAIN VERTICAL INVERTER NEEDS CHANGED. LEFT = LEFT VERTICAL INVERTER RIGHT=RIGHT.........
ANOTHER WAY TO GET THIS FAULT IS WORN OR DAMAGED RIBBON/PLASTIC GOING FROM THE SCREEN MATRIX TO THE INVERTER
HOPE THIS WILL HELP IN SOLVING THE PROBLEM...

Hi there,

ASAP (and the caps are intentional) get your laptop connected to an external monitor. If the display is fine on the "big screen", it's most likely you only have a screen inverter/lcd failure. Failing Inverters can cause the effect you're seeing as well as an LCD burn out on the way.

If the displays are identical, then your video card is about to fail.

At least you'll know, and know right away.

Inverted Colors When Laptop Screen is Moved

hi
you are absolutely right.

there are basically two connections.
  1. at the motherboard end.
  2. at the display end.

any of the connector may be malfunctioning.

i ll suggest you not to open it yourself if you dont have prior experience in it.

while it wont take much to repair its not a costly affair.

if your system is under warranty it can be repaired for free.

if you find the solution helpful plz rate me carefully.
thnx

Inspiron 1521 green screen problem

Either the lcd cable is loose on the inverter board, the lcd cable is going bad, or the inverter is going bad. Usually this can be fixed by removing the power button bezel and making sure all the cables are seated properly on their connection. Removing the power button bezel varies from laptop to laptop, sometimes there are screws on the bottom of the laptop that you need to remove and sometimes there are not, it just snaps into place.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
