I assume you mean change font colors in the body of your messages you compose.

IOpen a new message by clicking on "create mail" in outlook express. In the tool bar just above the white ares you type the message, left click once on the underlined "A" a selection of colors will drop down. Select the color you wnat and it will change the font color.

I hope this helps!

I what to my decrease my text size when i am composing a letter on my email

Not many email facilities give the option of choosing the size of the text.

It is best to compose emails using a word processing programme such as Microsoft Word or Wordpad and then copy and paste to an email or include as an attachment. Using a word processor will provide the option of choosing the typeface and size.

How do i reset my email fonts

Changing font size for reading in Outlook and Gmail

To read Mail in a larger font in Outlook:
  • Hold down Ctrl while turning the scroll wheel on your mouse down.
In Outlook 2007 and later, alternatively
  • Open the message in its own window.
  • Click Other Actions.
  • Select Zoom... from the menu.
  • Choose the desired zoom level.
  • Click OK.
Outlook will not remember the zoom level.

Since this does not work with plain text emails (the mouse wheel does), also select Tools ' Options... from the menu, go to the Mail Format tab, click Fonts... and use the Choose Font... button under When composing and reading plain text: to choose a bigger font. The above instructions are courtesy of About.com.

If you have a Yahoo! account, you can change the appearance of your messages.
For example, you can change font color or size.

If the default font size for Yahoo! is too small or too large, there are two ways to change the font size.

You can change the font size while composing a message or you can change your settings and change the font size for all messages.

Click "New" to compose a message and click "Rich Text" beside the "Subject" line to show font options.

The appearance bar will open in your e-mail message; you can change font color and size here.
Highlight the text you want to change the font size.
Change Font Size in a Yahoo! Mail Message
Look to the font options toolbar above the e-mail message and click the arrow beside "12," the default font size.

A drop-down list will open with the available font sizes.
Select a different font size from the drop-down list.

The font size of the selected text will change.

Change Font Size Permanently in Yahoo! Mail

Sign in to your Yahoo! Mail account and click "Options" located at the top, right corner of the window.

Select "More Options" from the drop-down list. The Options page will open.

You can change your signature or message settings here. Select "General" from the list of options and look to the section marked "Plain text font."

Click the arrow beside "12," the default font size and select a different font size from the drop-down list.

Click "Save Changes" to save the new font size.

Can't get the font to change when I am composing an e-mail

Which email account ?
You can easily change the appearance of outgoing email messages in Hotmail by changing the , style and color of the typeface (font). For incoming messages, you can change the display options including the number of messages per page, line width, message headers and Internet content. Use Rich-Text formatting in messages to change the of fonts, the color and the style and add background color and emoticons. Click the "Mail" tab, click "New" to compose a new message and then click "Tools." Check Rich-Text Editor "ON." If the icons are visible in the tool box in your New Mail page, and the dropdown menu says Rich-Text Editor OFF, then Rich-Text Editor is already on. Click on the "Font Size" icon in the "New" or "Reply" box before you write your email. Choose from a tiny to a very large font . Change the appearance of the type by clicking on "Font Style." Choose from serif, sans serif or a "handwriting" style. Change the appearance of incoming messages by clicking on "Options" in the upper right hand corner. On the left side of the page, click "Mail." Click on "Mail Display Settings" to change the number of messages it shows and to adjust other options. Hope this helps.

Setting the default font size composing mail in aol browser

Hi - no problem. I can help you out. When signed on to AOL, look at your top tool bar. Click on Settings. This will open the Help window. After the Help window opens, look under the "T" section and click on Text and Font. Clicking on this will open a smaller box labeled Font and Text settings. After the box is open you can change the size and look of your font. Just use the little arrows next to the font and size. The sample will change to show you how it will look in your emails. You can also change the color, bold or not, italics or not, etc. if you wish. It's all there. Once the sample looks the way your dad wants his text in his emails to look, just click on the Save button at the bottom of the box and you'll be all done. If this solves the problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If you need more help just add a comment and I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks.
