When I wear the heart monitor in the swimming pool, it says my heart rate is zero. I have tightened the strap as far as it will go. How do I get the monitor to work in the pool?

- Hello! It is an Omron HR-100C. The manual says it can be worn swimming and diving up to approx. 30 meters. But I have the strap as tight as I can, and there is no heart rate registering on the monitor. Thanks!!

what brand and are you sure it can be worn in the pool?? most monitors don't conduct on water...
