    1. Connection test keeps failing, "unable to connect to internet", the manual says i need to disable our firewall. My mom dosn't want to turn it off. Is it possible to connect to the internet with a wireless router but still not disable the firewall???????????????/ She's afraid we'll get viruses.

One option is try choosing a different type for your password...i've had the same error before and what i did was to change the password type e.g. from wpa aes-tkip to wpa-aes passphrase (this option will appear during your wii internet connection set-up as you would probably know by now) and everything right afer started to fall in place perfectly...my wii started connecting to my router and never had the same error code ever since.

I sometimes have this problem to using the official wifi usb stick. Try moving the router's antenna or the whole thing and see what happens.

Are you using a WEP? If so, it will only connect using KEY #1.

It's possible that the wireless security pass code for your home network may have been changed or is entered incorrectly on the Wii console

We can't seem to get our Wii internet connection to turn on, they give us error code 52030

This means the security code you entered into the Wii is not the same one your router is set to. Look in your router's settings and try again

Lost internet connection reading code 52030

Error Code: 52030
Unable to connect to your wireless network
Likely cause: It appears that the security settings entered into the Wii console are not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow, or your router is not able to assign the Wii an IP address.
How to fix: Make sure the security key and security type are entered into the Wii exactly as they appear in your router's settings; manually assign an IP address to the Wii.

My netflicks has stopped working I have a Error code 52030

This code usually pops up because your network settings are not the same in the Wii as they are on your router. Please try re-entering your settings and try to connect again.

Wii will not conect to the internet today, we have not had a problem before today. When I test it it shows an error code of 52030.

The following information was taken directly from Nintendo's website about error code 52030. I have included a link at the bottom directly to the page from which I got this information. If you click the link, there will be a step by step guide on fixing the error:

Error 52030

When I try to connect to the Internet it keeps giving me a error code 52030

Error 52030 is a security settings error built into the Wii. This means the Wii is either incompatible with your router's security settings or your router isn't able to assign the Wii an IP address (which means it can't register it onto your network).
Nintendo has provided official information for solving this problem here: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/results.jsp?error_code=52030&system=Wii&locale=lang
Good luck!

My wii will not connect to wireless internet error code 52030

If you get an error code of 52030 on you Wii console, this indicates a problem with your Wii communicating with your wireless router. There are a couple things you can try/check to help fix this problem.

1 - Try using a different channel on your router and update your Wii to take to the router on that channel.

2 - If your router is using WEP (encryption), make sure your Wii is set to the same encryption.

  4. Select "Connection 1: None"

(Don't see "None" in Connection 1? Click the Connection 1 button, then choose "Clear Settings.")
  5. Click on "Wireless Connection" and then "Search for an Access Point."

(Are you using a wired Internet connection to your Wii console? If so, click here for specific help.)
  6. Select "OK" and the Wii will display all the wireless networks it finds.

  7. Select the wireless network that is yours.
(If you're not sure which is yours, or you don't see any wireless networks, click here.)

  8. Asked to enter a security key? If you are prompted to "Enter the Password or Key," then the wireless network you are trying to connect to has wireless security turned on. You will need to type in your security key or password and select "OK." secureaccess.png Don't know your router's security key? Let us help you find your router's security key. Select the brand of your router below and we'll provide you with the default information for that brand! Linksys Netgear DLink Belkin Apple 2Wire All other brands
  9. Select "OK," "Save Settings," and then "Yes."

    • The Wii console will run a connection test with your wireless network when the test is completed. You should see the following screen:
        sfapun2.gif
As long as you see "The connection test was successful," the "Wii Support Code" does not matter and can be ignored

    • The connection test was successful - Then you're almost done! After your connection test, the Wii console will check if there is a new Wii System Update available. Once you select "Yes" and "I Accept," the Wii will begin to download any available updates. Click here to find out what's next!

    • The connection test was not successful - If the test was not successful, you will receive an error code.
      • Error Code 51330 or 52130: This means the security code you entered into the Wii is not the same one your router is set to. Look in your router's settings and try again. Please refer to step seven (7) above for more information.
