SSL is a encryption protocol. Confirm to use this and continue to add a email account. Otherwise communication would be unsure.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How to transfer my roadrunner emails to gmail, just purchased a iphone G4?

If you are just trying to use your RR email account on the iPhone there is really no reason to go through the hassle of setting up a G-mail account to route it through.
If you still want to use G-mail ignore the next part.

On the iPhone select the "Settings application Next select the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" option Under the subtitle "Accounts" select the "Add Account" Option Select "Other" and under mail select "Add mail account"
Fill out the information that is required to set up an account, "Name, Address, Password, and Description) for example (Billy, Billy1@tampabay.rr.com, 123abc, Main Address)
Click Next
Scroll down to the section labelled "Incoming Mail Server"
Change the "User Name" to your e-mail address And Scroll down to the section labelled "Outgoing Mail Server"
Change the "User Name" to your email address and fill in the password as what you would use to login to the website Choose save in the top right corner of the screen and wait for the information to process, if a dialog box pops up asking you to continue without an SSL select yes and wait for you information to process once more.

This should set up your RR email account on the iPhone4

Need to setup email on iphon 3gs. I need step by step info.

Setting up email accountsEmail account setup with Mail is easy. If you're setting up an email account for the first time on iPhone or iPod touch, simply touch the Mail icon on the Home screen. If you're adding an additional account with software version 2.0 or later, touch the Settings icon on the Home screen, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select Add Account.
If you're setting up a Microsoft Exchange, MobileMe, Gmail, Yahoo! or AOL account, touch the icons for those services on the Add Account screen and enter your account information. If you're setting up an email account from another provider, select Other. In software version 2.0 or later, Mail can automatically setup many popular POP and IMAP email accounts using just your email address and password.1 As Mail looks up settings that match your email account you may see a note appear that will describe any limitations you may experience in using your email account. If Mail cannot find the settings needed to setup your email account, refer to the documentation from your email provider on how to manually setup an email account.
Syncing email account settings to iPhone
You use iTunes to sync your email account setttings to iPhone or iPod touch. iTunes supports Mail on a Mac, and Microsoft Outlook (2007 or 2003) and Outlook Express on a PC. See article "Syncing iPhone " for further details.

Note: Syncing email account settings to iPhone or iPod touch copies the email account setup, not the messages themselves. Whether the messages in your inbox appear on both iPhone or iPod touch and your computer depends on the type of email account you have and how it's configured. You may need to enter your password on the device after syncing account settings.

here is a video for doing this procedure..

How can I receive my email from Microsoft Windows Mail to my Iphone?

Go to:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account
From here complete all the fields: Name (Your name) Address (email address of account your adding) Password (password used to log into the email account) Description (Anything you want)
Now, once this is complete, it may retrieve the correct mail settings for you (some accounts do) however if it asks you for a pop3 setting and a smtp setting, then use the following:
pop3.live.com smtp.live.com
that should be everything you need :)

How do I set up a mail account so I can email photos from my iphone? I use hotmail. Iphone won't bluetooth.

Ok, go to settings, then mail, contacts calender. Go to add account, select other
for hotmail then add account. Fill in all relevent details as normal, hit save.
It will verify account info then will appear above "add account" click on it and
the settings should be filled in. If not fill in name address = email address, description = email address, host name = pop3.live.com, username = email address, password.

Then click on smtp server (bottom of current page)
for outgoing mail and check primary server is smtp.live.com

If smtp needs configuring go into smtp add primaru server as smtp.live.com as host name, user name is yor email address, password, ssl to ON, port 587.

Hope this all helps and please vote if it does.

Thanks

Jim

SSL is the secure socket layer. SSL provides encrypted flow of traffic for your email. If your provider does not have SSL, you will need to connect without this additional level of security.
