They are cordless? If not then they are lack of electricity, try disconnecting one and will work fine, It may caused by wire connection to outside.

There is a message "Searching" on the phone, How do I get it back to working.

You might try to de-register the handset and re-register
it to the base. Be sure the handset's battery is well
charged, a weak battery can impede the registration.

( I ) To de-register the errant handset:

1. Press and hold the [END] and [ # ] keys at the same time until the screen displays
"System Reset, Deregister Handset"
2. press [select]
3. scroll to "Base Unavailable"
4. press [select]
5. display says "Not Registered"

( II ) To register the handset to the base:

1. open the base display's [menu]
2. scroll to "Register Accy."
3. press [select]
4. on the handset, press and hold [ # ] until
the handset display says "Registering"
5. In ~30 seconds, handset display will say
"Registration Complete" or
"Registration Failed".

This is described on page 22 of the manual.

My Uniden 1560-3 has out of range on all handsets but one. I only have a dial tone on one handset. Please advise how I can correct this problem

Reset the hand sets that are out of range by doing the following:

1) Press and hold END and # for at least five seconds.
2) Move the cursor to select Base Unavailable and then press Menu/Select.
3) Select the base which you want to de-register from, and then press Menu/Select. Base Unavailable appears.
4) Move the cursor to select Yes, and then press Menu/Select. You hear a confirmation tone,

(For DCX150 handsets)
5) Place the handset in the base cradle for about thirty seconds. Handset Registering will appear in the LCD.
6) When the handset has registered to the base, the LCD will display Registration complete then show the handset
ID number.
If the display shows Registration failed, repeat the process again.

(For DCX200 or DCX300 handsets)
5)Disconnect the base AC adapter. Then press and hold find while you reconnect the adapter. Keep holding
find until the charge LED starts to blink.
6)When charged, registered handsets display a handset ID number. Handsets that have not been registered display:
7) On the handset, press and hold # until the handset beeps and displays Handset Registering.
8) When the handset has registered to the base, the LCD will display Registration complete then show the handset
ID number.
If the display shows Registration failed, repeat the process again.

Hi there,

In your situation, you have the possibility of several different problems.

1. Your "Screen Inverter" is failing.
2. Your screen "LCD Panel" is failing
3. The "Video Controller Chip" soldered permanently to your motherboard is failing.

The first step in troubleshooting these problems would be to take your laptop to a friend's house who is using a desktop computer with a separate external monitor. Hook your laptop up to the external monitor and see if it displays normally on that monitor. If it does, you merely need to replace both the Screen Inverter and LCD Panel of your laptop and you'll be fine.

If, however, your laptop will not display on an exterior monitor, it means that your video controller on your motherboard has failed and you'll have to either get a new motherboard installed or consider replacing your laptop.

I'll be rooting for # 1 or 2.

Kind Regards,

Selk

To register a DCX200 or DCX300 accessory handset:

My monitor keepfading outand going to a black screen, please advise. It's only about 3 or 4 years old

3 to 4 years old are due time to look for bad caps in the power supply and inverter section,
Most common failure in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Image goes to black on Sharp flatscreen.

An LCD unit? Sounds like the backlight is failing. When it goes black next time, use a strong light next to the screen and look for a faint image on the screen....

If it is the backlight, its a service shop issue.

NO PC stated, 1984 to 2017, 10,000 models, stated.
NO OS stated, XP what? must we guess the OS?
no posted photos, of ugly screens presented by you.
why do that? leave out the #3 most important fact.s
michean, = machine, say "PC runs great, "
no PC stated, no OS stated but it runs great but colors not.

Compaq monitor TFT-5000 ccfl
very very old monitor. 4:3 square screen old.
15 inches sized (tiny)
18 years old in fact, in dog years that be 126 years old,(lol)

in all cases of all PCs made ever,
there can be many causes, no need to guess or for me to list them ALL.
but here is the MACRO view (from afar)

Did it fail plugged in to ANOTHER GOOD PC
no, didnt fail, then,...
1: The PC graphic chip is overheated. ever clean unstated
2: PC has CPU oveheating
3: PC has power supply problems, causing chip to malf.
4: PC video card bad, or if laptop GPU chip problems.
5: PC has corrupted or wrong or virus infected Video drivers.
end.

anyone else with same problem would do tests or through it away, if bad, its has $0 zero dollar street value like this.
ever consider upgrading, to something 2010 or newer. ?
a REAL LED LCD screen. (11 years newer?????)
your screen has CCFL lamps that turn yellow old, and then go dead. yellow make white look yellow.
see?

Phones (4) do not work

If you tried the registration process discribed in the book, it is possible that the base may have gotten zapped. Happened to me. Bought a new DCT 758 (cheap at Amazon.com) with only one extra handset and used two of the old handsets with it. It will only support the handset in the base and 3 others, so you can't use all of the old ones (save them for extras).
