You can download the manual at the link provided. If you refer to page 8. It shows you all the options for adjusting the audio. There is also a volume offset for each source to turn them up louder or quieter. On page 9. You can set your speaker size as well for better sound.

Yes, you will need a sirius tuner for the kenwood..Transfering the service is easy, just contact sirius, and give them the new radio ID, and the account will be switched instantly.

Installing kenwood kdc-mp238 in a 2001 dodge ram 2500 quad cab

No ur radio is fine to fit the wiring harness into ur dodge the wiring has been crossed so it wont work, if u go 2 the Kenwood US site and down load the KDC MP 228 manual it has a good wiring dirgram and with a bit of work u can work out what goes where :0 Hope this helps

I had the 925 purchased from Ebay, but I sold the car with it.
it's probably the ribbon wire broken between the face and the unit. I know that on Ebay some they use to offer a repair for these type of units.

Try disconnecting it from all 12 volt sources(overnight)to reset the code entry procedure. If that dont sort it, let me know and we shall try something else

Wiring

tblackwood ...if you have connected your remote turn on for your amp to the remote turn on on the deck(this is also the power aerial connection) ..on some decks this has power only when the radio is operating. as soon as you insert cd it shuts down the power to this supply(i dont know why some did this.it was a bad move ) ..you may have to find another power supply to turn the amp on (accessories supply on the ignition..)
