Try turning it off at the breaker overnight. The idea is to dissipate all the power from the control board so it loses its memory.

It needs the brew unit cleaned - descaling is mainly for the heaters. The Brew unit tablet (the one the size of a sweetart) is used to clean just the brew unit. In the maintance menu your will find clean brew unit - follow the bouncing ball

You need to enter service mode and reset the descale - to enter you press the hot water and power button at the same time and releasing - then press hot water five times and hold - there you can reset the descale

I had this problem where my Jura E6 was stuck in a descaling loop. I filled the water tank with warm water and turned it off and then on again. This reset it to main screen and I was able to complete the entire descaling process and machine is making coffee again!

I had this problem too. I was beside myself wondering what to do. I took the machine apart but there was nothing wrong. It was stuck in an infinite descale cycle. The 5 green buttons never blinked to say it was done. What finally fixed it was to close the steamer valve to where water was being being restricted from the steamer wand but still a little water was spurting out. It finally quit emitting water and the 5 lights blinked and the infinite descale cycle completed. This model espresso maker was a lemon and been nothing but problems.

turn to lock and hold ^ button for 10 sec to change security setting on or off. should be off . then switch to program mode and use up & down arrows to descale with * , hit enter turn on steam.
