Question about Ingersoll Rand DD2T2 T Win Stack Single Stage Compressor

Ingersoll-Rand DD2T2 air compressor

Looks like one side of the compressor lost a bolt (or something), the hole looks like something screwed into it. When I turn on compressor, the tanks will not fill and air is coming out of this hole. What is missing?

Hi mate its either a fitting off the tank and it is just pumping air into the tank and out the hole or its the mpv valve this stops air in the tank bleeding back to the pump so when the pressure drops it can start other wise it wud not start as the piston is not possible to go up this is why when the compressor stops it bleeds off air in the system but to be honest i need more information to figure out what it could be e.g is it on pump unit or on tank etc

If the motor turns by hand, but the breaker is tripping does not preclude a bad motor. Could be nothing more than a capacitor on the motor itself. If the breaker you speak of is on the unit itself, could be bad. If it is in the electric panel, motor capacitor is the first place to look.

Ingersoll Rand SSR-EP75 owners manual, I need to remove the cooling fan and replace it , its on a marathon electric fan motor e206, motor is good but the plastic blades around it are busted, I need info on...

The pulley is held on by a compression type of coupling. Loosen all the screws in the coupling. Remove two screws and they should thread into two or more threaded holes in the coupling. These are holes that should be 180 degrees apart....they will be the only holes threaded. If all the other bolts in the circumference are loose you should be able to thread these two bolts into the coupling and the bolts actually "jack" the coupling apart. The coupling and fan should easily come off the front of the motor. The motor should be held on by 4 screws to the motor tower in front of your air/oil cooler.

Ingersoll rand compressor oil leak (Model DD2T2, 4.5 Gal.)

The brass fitting that goes into my DD2T2 seems to have a hole in it and it looks impossible to remove without ruining a major gasket due to the close tolerance in replacing the fitting. Am I missing something?
