The lens shutter to which you refer is actually the lens cover - the shutter itself is located within the camera, and controls the exposure.

SOURCE: fujifilm instax 200 camera will not spit out pictures! :(

Link

Hi,

Camera might be damaged because of the fall, suggest to consult the Authorized Dealer near you (-see above link), or send it back to the store where you purchase it as it may be still part of the warranty.

Thank you

SOURCE: I have a Fuji Instax

The same thing happened to me. Make sure that the mechanism arm on the inside that pushes the picture up is connected with the metal piece on the right hand side. The two can come loose allowing the metal piece to not bring the arm with it when you take a picture. Also the roller could have fallen down a bit. From the inside, press the roller up (it will click when it is in the right spot). The roller should be even all the way across and pushed all the way to the top of the camera.
I hope this helps if you haven't been able to fix it already.
(When all else fails, try changing the batteries.)

SOURCE: fujifilm A345 keeps saying zoom error lens wont

I recently came into this camera and after a day of testing it, it's doing the same thing. My work around is this. When it's on I press the zoom function and the lens then pops out. Then after it's out, I remove the batteries while it's still on. Put the batteries back in, and power it on (lens will be popped out) and then it starts working. I only paid $7 for it at a good will. So I was taking a chance it worked somewhat. This may work for you temporarily. Not sure how long this one will last.

Hi,
try take 10 shot without any films insert to the camera.
If there is flash mean camera is working in goods condition.
It will appear black because someone had open the film cover before, therefore , it detect it's a new film box, and eject the first film cover.

I put a fresh new pack of film into my Fuji film instax 210 camera but only used it to take two pictures. The next day when I tried to take a picture, it came out completely white. Why is that? It is very...

Completely white photos on an Instax, or any instant camera means the film has been exposed somehow. Check to be sure the film door is completely closed, and latched properly. If it is, it's possible, though unlikely, that your camera's shutter is stuck open. It'd be easy to check, simply look at the front of your camera into the lens, and see if you see any mechanical bits, now take a picture and see if you see any of them move - movement means working, no movement means not. If the entire camera back opens (I'm not sure if it does) you can also open it and do the same thing, looking to see if you see light through the camera when you're looking through the lens but not taking a picture - if you do the lense is stuck open. This, however, would require removing and wasting whatever film is remaining in it right now.
