Try to go to settings and you will be finding a item called change to default. Hit that and your sound setting will automatically changed back to how you had previously.

A cat walking across a keyboard shouldn't be a problem unless the cat was the size of a lion and weighed over 300 lbs? Did you swing at the cat to get it off your keyboard and in the process unplugged something? Did you try a Headphone output and see if you're getting anything? You say "Sound tests are good but still not sounds"?...not sure I i understand what you're talking about with that statement? Make sure all switches are at their regular last used settings. probably need a little more info like keyboard name/brand, what you're seeing (or hearing since you said sound tests are good?.

Screen went almost dark after cat walked across keyboard

Laptop keyboards have a function key that changes the brightness level. You access this by using the FN key on the bottom of the keyboard along with the brightness level, possibly the F8 key. There should be icons on the 'F' keys to show which key will increase the brightness on the display.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Toshiba satellite cursor frozen to one spot how do I :unlock/unfreeze the cursor (happened after cat walked across the keyboard

The touch screen don't work ? Do you use an external mouse ? Did you replace the external mouse if you have one?
1st gingerly, and softly pass your hand across the entire keyboard from left to right, then right to left touching ALL keys [[ ALL]] . go up and down the keyboard .
2nd take the eraser of the pencil and gently TAP all keys to UNstick any key that could be shorted out. If that don't work, get back to me so that I can show you how to use a WORD PROCESSOR to find your problem.

My display just turned sideways after the cat walked on my Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 and I can't figure out what key or keys she walked on. What key or keys will flip the display image back...

Don't worry about the keyboard, so it is Settings - Display.

Or if you really want to show you are cleverer than the cat :>)

This is usually a function of your video adapter. Using the Ctrl key and/or the Alt key in conjunction with the arrow keys you should be able to rotate the display back. You may also try right clicking an empty space on your desktop and on the context menu look for Graphic Options, Graphic Properties, or something similar. Then look for Rotation or Orientation, or possibly Landscape and Portrait.

change screen orientation from vertical to horizontal

Make sure that the speakers are not muted under the system tray settings. Look at the speaker icon in the system tray (near the computer time). Double click on it to brong the the sound and volume settings. Then make sure it is not muted.

Stuck cursor

Check all keys and make sure none are stuck down. This will lock up the keyboard. Any lights flashing? Any beep patterns?
