A 6 blink usually indicates a bad thermal fuse caused by the lamp temperature getting too hot. I strongly suggest replacing the sirrocco fan that mounts on top of the optical block too. Usually this fan gets clogged up with dust so the lamp temperature gets hotter than it should causing the thermal fuse to open up. Replacing the thermal fuse, sirrocco fan and cleaning the dust from the inside and fans will cure this. A Sony authorized servicer should be able to repair this for you. Good Luck
SOURCE: Er FF ON THE BORD
FF usually means the freezer fan is not working. If the fridge is cooling poorly, check to see if the fan inside is running while the compressor is running. If not, and if there's no ice jamming it, then you need a new evaporator fan. If the fridge is cooling normally and the only symptom is the error code, then it could be a problem in the electronic control.
SOURCE: I have error code ER dH. Unplug and then replug
er dh means the refrigs computer is not sensing a defrost cycle (dh means defrost heater) most common problem is a bad defrost sensor located on the evaporator behind the plastic cover in the back of the freezer compartment. your refrig will continue to cool for about 1 week unless you get this fixed then the evaporator coil will ice over and have to be defrosted manually.
this is an easy part to replace yourself and you can purchase the part thru sears.com or any of the other parts distributors on the net. you will need a complete model number from the unit to be sure and secure the correct part.
Thanks for using FixYa peyton...
SOURCE: LG refrigerator lrsc26944tt error code ER FF
I'm no major appliance repairman. However, after reading several posts, I investigated the issue further since I received an ER FF on the front panel. I have a LFX25960SW refrigerator. I pulled the top and bottom baskets out, and was able to take the back panel out from inside. There was a solid block of ice built up around both fans and wires. I took a blow dryer and gradually melted the ice around the fans and wires. Then, as I was able, I pulled the remaining ice chunks off of the wires. I put the thing back together and it cleared the message. My wife says no more LG appliances for us. :)
