It should be sticking out of the large aluminum canister on the pass. side firewall. It has a large black or blue cap on it. If you find 2 different fitting it's the larger one you need.

My pontiac transport has an ac porblem, it only blows warm air and i would like to fix it, can any one tell what might be the problem?????? thx

You probably need to recharge the a/c with refrigerant. You should look at the lines of your a/c in the engine compartment and see if any of the joints have a oily/dirty/ greasy look or feel to them. If so you will need to fix the leak with a a/c repair kit for your car. Then you can buy a a/c refrigerant recharge kit to get the a/c cold again.

hope this helps

Recharging air conditioner

START AT THE FIREWALL WHERE THE LINES CONNECT, MOVE ALONG THE LINES ABOUT 10 - 12 INCHES OR SO. THE LOW SIDE CONNECTOR SHOULD BE THERE UNDER THE WIPER TRANSMISSION BEHIND THE COIL PACKS. THE HIGH SIDE IS NEAR THE COOLANT RECOVERY TANK. YOU MAY HAVE TO LIFT IT FROM THE RETAINER.

1997 Pontiac Trans Sport, I took it to EZ Lube for oil change and was told it needed a transmission service. When I took it in the car ran smooth now it runs rough stays in the same gear for too long.

Take it to the dealer immediately and have the service re-done with factory fluids and filter. Give the bill to ez lube. This could be a very expensive problem about to happen.
