Refridgerator side of my side by side is Hot

First some stats:
The Freezer side is working fine it drop the temp down to about 0 in a short time.
The air flow from the freezer side to the refrigerator is working.
Repair man check the air flow and the defrost system and said it was working fine.

While the freezer side is working fine The Refrigerator side is heating up to over 120.
This is scary and could start a fire.

I had a repair man out and he said that it was something new to him in his 30 years of working on refrigerators.

Is there anything I can do to repair this problem?

Thanks for Your Help

No the light of out when the doors are closed... Would that cause the frig to go over 120 deg?

Now did I tell you that the inside sides of the refrigerator gets very hot to the touch. Like there are coils in the sides and top of the frig part of the side by side refrigator/Freezer.

    Thank You for Your Help

No... the lights go off when the doors are closed

    Thanks for the help.

Your Right the light is not going off.
I believe that the problem is... The door needs to be lifted up a bit so the switch is hit by the door and turns the lights off.

There is a loop from the condenser which passes around the door opening to use waste heat from the refrigerator to warm this area to prevent condensation from forming near the door gaskets. This is a normal thing, and saves energy, as older products used electric strip heaters to do the same job. I've never heard of a 120 FF temp before without some light staying on. I'd double check the air flow into the refrig (through the motorized air damper at the very top back left side of the FF compartment). Your model does not have the Climate Keeper heated drawer in the bottom of the FF compartment, so the only thing in the FF compartment that should be able to produce heat is the light bulb. Ice maker working and fan blowing in FRZ section?

Are the lights staying on in the refrig when the doors are closed?

Ge tfx25jrbb-ww refridgerator not cooling

The first thing to check is if you can hear the fan running inside the freezer. This not only keeps the whole freezer cold it alspo circulates air down to the refrigerator keeping it cool as well.

if the compressor is running your ref. should be getting cold. Their is a defrost timer but when it is in defrost the compressor shuts off. I think you do have a leak.

GSS22KGMC WW side-by-side refridgerator not cold anymore

I have no idea to this day, what caused the complete lack of cooling in my freezer and refridgerator. However, it seems to be working fine now. All I did was turn the compressor and fan totally off, let it rest for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. It seems to have "re-booted the system, and now everything is working normally. The ice-maker is once again making ice! It has been three days or so now, and so far, so good!

Refridgerator top freezer exterior wall hot

Folow these steps. It's worth a try.
1.Pull the fridge out from the wall and unplug it.
2. Clean the dust and lint off the compresser and everything else.
3. Also clean under the fridge.
4. The frame around the freezer door should cool down.

If the cooling fan was stuck , that may also be a cause for your refrigerator wall becoming hot.Check that too.
Hope My info is useful....Bye
