Question about Computers & Internet
When i turn my laptop on it say's the file is corupted or is missing what do i do i just baught it yesterday its brand new and it hasent been used very much and i need it working
Put in the operating disk that came with it and when it comes up tell it to repair.
DO NOT FORMAT YOUR HARD DRIVE OR REINSTALL WINDOWS YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING YOU HAD ON THE HARD DISK!!!!

1) Pull the HD out of the 'hal.dll' corrupted HD and hook it into a computer with the SAME OS (OEM, Retail, Home, Pro, etc)
2) Find the hal.dll on your current WORKING computer with same OS
3) Copy it to the secondary HD that has the corrupted hal.dll in the same locationh and plug it back in.
