But I ran into a snag...I cant get the wireless to come up in XP and also when I look in the Device Manager there's a Question Mark next to Other Devices and Question Marks next to the following as well: Audio Devise on High Def Audio Bus, Ethernet Controller, Mass Storage Controller, Modem Device, Network Controller, SM Bus Controller, and finally Video Controller. Hardware in your system requires the use of device drivers to integrate with the OS, and these are often unique to a particular OS, so you need new drivers for your hardware to continue working if you are booting into xp instead of vista. It may be difficult to find drivers for xp for some of your hardware, since the manufacturers don't always support older OSs. See articles here, here, here for more info, and a tutorial that will help you to update the drivers here.
To check Toshiba support for xp drivers, go here. Otherwise, these folks might be able to help.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

It sounds like you didn't do a "clean install" with the XP. A lot of your system is still under the Vista control.
