Re: Lisencing

DON'T use someone else's key. It's against the law and eventually the key will be blacklisted. This means that you will lose access to Windows Update services.

I don't like copyright protection on software and I personally think that software licensing and software protection is both harmful and cumbersome for its users. This doesn't change the fact that legally, you are required to license Windows. Go with Windows XP Professional if you can. If you want to try Windows Vista, you will need to do some research into which version is appropriate.

If you want to Hack Windows or use someone else's registered key, you are committing a crime and this forum is not the place to find help. You'd be better off Googling it.

I don't mean to sound like a "ninny", it's just posts like the previous one that get sites like this shut down.

You either have to download and use a "Crack" or "Hack" and illegally do it, or buy a licence from Microsoft? One "Hack" is WGA removal tool, simply Google for one and download it and install as per instructions.

Reinstall Windows, entering the license-key when requested, instead of skipping that step.

Or, try to "activate" it -- it may ask you to enter the license-key.

If you see this illustration :

This means, your Windows XP is not license,If you want this notification be remove, just download the link below :

Here is the instruction :

* after downloading the file, extract it even on desktop.
* if you want to add license on your Win XP,go to "Magic Regfile" folder then click the application to operate
* if you want instant genuine XP (just a patch) open "Remove WGA"folder and with just one click with that application, the notification will be remove and your window XP is now genuine.

If you don't have sufficient money to buy genuine XP, this is the alternative way to use your computer or laptop.

I had a tech work on my computer some time ago and now I'm getting a message from Microsoft saying that I don't have a genuine windows license. The tech is not longer in business. Can you tell me how to...

You can only correct this if you have the original license key before you took it to the tech guy. You need to activate the key on Microsoft site after entering the key in your Windows XP system. But if you can't get this key you may need to buy another license key from Microsoft.

Hello please i would like to get from you a windows xp home sp 1a product keys

Dear princebaraka,

I believe that kind of question isn't allowed. We can not offer you/give you a legitimate Windows XP Home Edition Serial Key. The reason is simple, it's illegal. There are plenty of websites that store serial keys but the thing is, those are probably already blacklisted and do not allow you to update your computer. Which off course is a big security risk.

There are alternatives though to get Windows XP pretty cheap.
1. Buy a new PC with XP. Usually you'll get an OEM license.
2. If you are still a student, maybe your school has some interesting offers for it's students.
3. Use a serial key from an older PC. Install XP using the software disc you have and if it cannot activite because of the hardware being to different from the PC Windows was activated on you'll need to call Microsoft (phone number is on the Activation Utility)

That's all I can do for you.
