Have a look at the 'remote control programming' section on page 9 of the manual. Note, the manual says that the LEDs illuminate blue, not green.

if nothing is obstructing the door then there are 2 possibilities:
a) your limit switch for closing is too low and the closer detects the motor stall as the floor is reached, then opens in case it's a kid under the door.
b) your tracks and garage door are mis-aligned, causing excessive force to trigger the reversal. Make sure the door closes easily by hand.

you mean the ir beam is to wide? use tape..

hello,there is an adjuster on the side of the motor,also check that the micro switch[if fitted on your particular type} is 'clicking' and actually in contact with the arm as it revolves closed. hope that helps, cheers

I think the threads are different. I have the same problem and the threads in the small splice part are different. i must have the wrong splice.

First unwire the wall button. If the light will go off now replace the wall button. If not then you will need to replace the logic board on this unit(genie.com for replacement). Protect this with a surge protector as well 900 joules or higher. Thanks BB

If the chain does not move but the motor runs then you have stripped the internal gears. I would replace here. These chain glide units are not very strong. There might be a chance the chain is telescoping down the rail but the trolley is not hooked up. Pull the red cord back toward the motor to engage. Thanks BB
