Hi,

first check the cables at the back and securely it firmly.

then power it on again, if still the same problem, try to use video input

power it on again, if still the same problem, here are the possibilities

a) if using TV mode, maybe there is no signal going in the antenna terminals

b) if using input mode,

check the connecting cables and secure it firmly

One reason why your TV blinks is that it is now in protection mode.

It is protecting itself from further damaged, it might not turn , till the fault is repaired and corrected.

my suggestions:

1) there might be electronic components failure

here is the guide:,

have a visual check on the main circuits board,

look for , there might be bulge capacitor

if visual check wont work, a multimeter might do the job

you need to get the B+ or someone who knows something about voltage checking

It will all start with B+ - the main supply

a) the secondary section of the chopper transformer has shorted diode-- have it checked
or have busted capacitor, if OK

b)the trouble is on the primary side of the chopper transistor--have a checked on the zener diode, capacitors, diodes, resistors

c) the inverter circuits might be misbehaving.

if the unit is still in warranty period, give a ring on the dealer or visit the manufacturer web site.

these are just my suggestions, hope i have helped you, thanks for using Fixya!

Samsung= Lamp is customer replaceable-----Google the HLS5086 (forget the WX etc) for "manual" and if you remove the lamp(very easy) look to see if the lamp is shattered inside---

You Tube has lots of videos by model and brand for lamp removal and replacement--if you need advice about this leave a comment here.

Samsung model hlt4675sx\xaa projection tv wont work. the stand by/temp light flashes red and the lamp light flashes green? it makes the sound that it makes when it turns on but no picture. we looked at the...

It could be the temp sensor going bad. This sensor sits on top of the metal housing which the bulb assembly slides into. The bulb assembly will have a hole on top and this is where the sensor is above. There is a small blue and white wire that plugs into it. If you pull the wire out and put a paper clip or wire in the coupling you will basically bypass the sensor connecting the blue and white wire. If your tv turns on then that is your problem. Its cheap too. Here were my symptoms..1] Turn tv on 2] Bulb would light up..(which eliminates the ballast) regular picture would show up (which eliminates the bulb and color wheel) 3] 30 seconds later tv would shut down with 3 flashing lights. After bypass the tv turned on as always and hasnt shut down yet. Always un plug tv first. Get the replacement part to avoid overheating and possible fire

Blinking lights on HLT5075SX/XAA samsung

Manual says you need to replace the lamp: When do I need to replace it?
• It should be replaced when the screen becomes darker, less clear or when all three LEDs on the front (STAND BY/TEMP, LAMP, and
TIMER) are flashing
