Question about Radio Communications
Just spoke with Motorola's consumer division at 800-638-5119, and they tell us there is no difference between the radios. These were two different production runs and the Marketing Dept. called one XLR and not the other.
Here's a link to the user manual if you need it http://www.giantintl.com/ContentManage/manuals/Moto/T9500%20FINAL%20-%20English%20only%20all%20rights%20reserved%20and%20call%20center%20email%2004-24-07.pdf

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
