The problem you have is a faulty image stabilizer. It's a well known problem in these cameras. It's a hardware fault and I'm afraid you won't be able to fix it yourself. Usualy it requires the lens unit to be replaced. You should contact your local Sony service center or me at toms.safranovs@gmail.com - I give the best prices. ;)

DSC-T20 Sony Cyber Shot Camera that vibrates like a cell pohne. The vibration does not allow for a good picture it all. Could it that the anti vibration system of the camera goes into a full mode trying to counter act normal vibration, but can not stop itself?
It is the second time that it happens. This time I was on a boat taken pictures and movie clips. my wife elbows were on the surface of the boat, souposibly to stady the picture and maybe the vibration transmited through her body activated the anti vibration system of the camera and now it can not stop itsel. I have taken the battery out and replaced it with a fresh one etc., but that did not work! Is there any advice?
