Thanks Bill - much appreciated. However, the female section of the connector is mounted in a casting on the rear of the tractor. The only accessible part is the outer face of the fitting.

The part that you screw is on the male end of the hose
IF it is not as described you will have to check with a dealer
by looking at the male fitting you will see that it is blocked off with a small pin out of the center
this is a non flow valve that closes of the hose to stop the oil from running out and to stop dirt from getting in
there is a similar operation in the female connection and when pressed together one opens the other to allow oil flow
when pressed together you slide the screw bit up to the thread on the female bit and do it up
quick connect hose fittings are universal in construction and used universally across all manufacturers and hose manufacturers

To Remove:
  1. Remove the PCM.
  2. Remove the coolant reservoir.
  3. Remove the rear coolant recovery reservoir mounting stud.
  4. Disconnect the cooling tube from the blower motor.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
  6. Remove the blower motor mounting bolts.
  7. Remove the blower motor insulating cover.
  8. Remove the blower motor.
To Install:
  1. Install the blower motor.
  2. Install the blower motor mounting bolts.
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor.
  4. Connect the cooling tube to the blower motor.
  5. Install the rear coolant recovery reservoir mounting stud.
  6. Install the coolant reservoir.
  7. Install the PCM.

To Remove:
  1. Remove the PCM.
  2. Remove the coolant reservoir.
  3. Remove the rear coolant recovery reservoir mounting stud.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
  5. Move the PCM connectors out of the way.
  6. Remove the blower motor access cover screws. CAUTION
    Do not cut any deeper than necessary in order to remove the access cover.
  7. Cut through the access cover on the cut line using a sharp utility knife.
  8. Disconnect the cooling tube from the blower motor.
  9. Remove the blower motor mounting bolts.
  10. Remove the blower motor.
To Install:
  1. Install the blower motor.
  2. Install the blower motor mounting bolts.
  3. Connect the cooling tube to the blower motor.
  4. Install the blower motor access cover.
  5. Install the blower motor access cover retaining screws.
  6. Using black weather-strip adhesive, seal the cut line.
  7. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
  8. Reposition the PCM connectors.
  9. Install the rear coolant recovery reservoir mounting stud.
  10. Install the coolant reservoir.
  11. Install the PCM.

NOTE There is a trend among manufacturers today to refer to the source of belt-driven electrical power as a -generator-; however, by virtue of the method in which the -generator- produces electrical current the device is actually an -alternator-. The two terms may be used interchangeably.

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Drain the cooling system.
  3. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable Accessory drive belt Alternator upper mounting bolt Engine splash shield Radiator support access panel Rear alternator bracket from the engine Alternator mounting bolts Duct on the back of the alternator Electrical connectors Front alternator-to-A/C bracket Alternator

To install:
  1. Install or connect the following:

    Alternator Front alternator-to-A/C bracket. Torque the bolt to 37 ft. lbs. (50 Nm). Electrical connectors. Torque the battery connection nut to 115 inch lbs. (13 Nm). Duct on the back of the alternator Alternator mounting bolts. Torque the bolts to 37 ft. lbs. (50 Nm). Upper front bolt. Torque the bolt to 35 ft. lbs. (47 Nm). Rear bracket to the engine. Torque the bolt to 37 ft. lbs. (50 Nm). Radiator support access panel Engine splash shield Accessory drive belt Negative battery cable
  2. Refill the cooling system. 4 DeVille

Starter Motor -located to articulate with flywheel that has gear teeth between the engine and transmission accessible from down below. REMOVAL & INSTALLATION 240SX WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

Trying to upgrade my 99 eldorado stareo and i cant take it out and the back speakers\

Remove the snap trim around the radio to reveal the mounting bolts. Sometimes multiple pieces must be removed to access.

The rear speakers are accessed through the top. Seat back is removed, then rear deck cover. Speaker mount is revealed at this time.

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel screws.
  1. NOTE: The rear door trim panel has eight two-part pin-type retainers. The male part of the retainer will remain with the trim panel and the female part will remain with the door.
    NOTE: To release the door trim panel pin-type retainers, first pull outward on the bottom of the door trim panel.
