I have a Vizio M550VSE tv and for the life of me I can’t fighre out what’s wrong with it. The issue I was having is the screen would just flash when turned on and then go black. It pssed the flashlight test and I replaced all of the components inside the tv. I did not, however, replace the LEDs. After I took the tv apart I turned it on and all of the LEDs flashed, none were out! It’s driving me crazy! Any ideas??? Thanks in advance.

It could be a bad connection that shows up when the screws are tight that hold it together. Put one screw in, test, next screw, test, etc till you find the one causing the issue.

The four cap replacement in DM module repair is simplistic
and incomplete, as you found out. ALL defective DM modules
have bad SMC's ( small "top hat" caps) AKA surface-mount
capacitors that can be changed only by the most highly skilled
bench techs. We used to change out hundreds years ago in
camcorder circuit board repair.DM board repair is a much more
accessible,thus more "do-able". For more info.............T.

SOURCE: Flashing Screen

ok, the problem you may be having is bad solder connections on the vertical deflection IC. resolder them or have a tech do it. also check for bad solder on the 9 volt regulater IC as well. these problems are common to older sony sets.

SOURCE: Flash in Canon SD630

you might want to check the wires on the flash tube. or it could be the flash circute. most of the time it is just a loose wire.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

I have a Vizio tv, model M550vse serial # LWJSNKBP0400934. The tv will try to come on and then turn off. I have change out the power supply board but have the same results.

Power supply might be ok but what generally happens in such cases is that some component somewhere or some module somewhere is loading the power supply and it must be getting off as a safety precaution. I can only recommend for a TV mechanic to check it in details.

How do I fix problem with Vizio m550vse LED TV? Flashlight test reveals picture and no back lights are visible.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.

Have vizio m550vse the power will turn off

Make sure all the connections are securely attached. Perform any software updates. If the TV is randomly turning off it sounds like a problem with the power board in the TV. Check you warranty limits asap.

I TURN ON MY VIZIO MODEL M550VSE FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL, IT JUST SHOWS THE VIZIO LOGO AND THEN IT SHUT OFF BY ITSELF

This sounds like an EEPROM issue. it has gotten corrupted and needs to be "re-flashed".
