Question about Sony MHC-RV888D Shelf System
The board and the plastic are glued to each other
Posted on Jul 31, 2009
Front panel is glued with the box. Carefully insert a very thin metal strip between the box and front panel and loosen the glue from surrounding area. Ply of the box is very thin, so be careful. now slowly pull the front panel from the box and remove the speakers by a screw driver and clean them with a clean dry cloth. After cleaning fix them again with the pane and fix the panel with box by FEVICOL.

Since you don't name the receiver we have no idea of its audio power or compatibility with 'standard' 8-ohm speakers.

Any normal standardized NOT-all-in-one-hi-fi-in-a-box amplifier will work with these speakers.
