Thanks Guru for the reply, the dryer runs good with power and everything, but no heat. The air blowing out of the vents doesn't get warm at all. My bad on not including the model and make. Here it is :
    Frigidaire model : GLEQ332AS2
    Serial : XD33404180

As usual, your response is always highly appreciated...Thanks again !

You will need to start by lifting the lid to the dryer. There are two clips that need to be released by pressing them in with a putty knife or similar tool inbetween the front panel and the top. Once the lid is up there are two phillips screws holding the front panel on. Undo door switch wiring remove screws and remove front of dryer. Once front is removed release belt from idler, motor. (this can be done thru small louvered panel on rear of dryer). Now use belt and pull up on tub until rear bearing is released. Now the Element can be axcessed. You may want to pick up some Frigidaire High temp grease for the rear bearing. Also inspect the 3 White Plastic Front Tub glides or if the front of your dryer has a big plastic ring around the enitre opening this is the glide. Inspect for wear and for cracks.

My frigid air dryer turns on and tumbles but will not heat up. We are doing renos and the duct(ing) is not connected to the dryer vent. Is that the cause? thanks.

No probably not the reason for not heating, what comes to mind first is check for proper 220/240 voltage is getting to the dryer, a dryer will run and seem to operate normally evn with getting only 110/115 volts but that is not enough power to energize the heating element to heat the air blowing into the dryer,or you may have a failed dryer heating element. Good luck !

Dryer not heating, help

1. No power to the dryer
Make sure there's power getting to the dryer. Check for tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses. An electric dryer uses two circuit breakers or fuses, and if only one of two is tripped or blown, the dryer might still run but not heat. Sometimes the power cord disconnects or burns at the dryer, if this is the case, the wiring and the terminal block must be repaired or replaced.

2. Heating element
A burned out heating element will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Replace the element if found defective.

3. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.
