Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50 Digital Camera

My sony cybershot DSC T50 has a flash problem..its not working. Clicking menu and selecting flash makes no difference. the red eye is working

Press RESET button on camera .Its possibly needs repair ..Flash assembly is possibly bad and or flash data is corrupt.Needs service

White screen , no image showing, no menu showing, no image in picture taking


if it takes a picture then it is a broken lcd screen... if it does not then it is a broken sensor and lcd screen... with the menu not showing that has nothing to do with the sensor just the screen.

Everytime I snap a picture, the camera flashes three times. Help!


The camera is in Red-eye Reduction mode. The preflashes are intended to get the subject's pupils to contract, reducing the red-eye look.

Press MENU to display the menu. Press right-arrow to select the toolbox icon (Setup). Press the arrow keys to select Red Eye Reduction, and turn it off.

Many of the photos taken from the cam do have red/brown.. colored eyes.. goods photos are often discarded due to this.. pl help me..for free.


go to menu bar of the Cam.. there u will fine an option call "red eye correction" please do make use of the option and no more discardings... cheer!!

Red eye can be turned on or off in the menu. Does the word auto show in the LCD?

Red eye issue


You can just try to turn it off, just click on the menu button and go to the third page then you will see an eye icon, click on it and then press the button off, ok i hope this helps.

I take it from your description the camera is flashing several times befor it take the actual picture.

If this is the case you have red eye reduction switched on, you need to turn it off in the menu system.
