The pumps clogged or the drain pump is bad,the washer won't spin until all the water is drained out.also that model number doesn't show up,open the door to the washer look around the opening where you put the clothes in and you'll find the model number there

SOURCE: My LG Turbodrum DD WT

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is normally behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!

It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Following are my complete and generic guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.

Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

SOURCE: washing machine not spinning or draining water

its your drain pump if you can hear it humming but no water is draining it is blocked or jammed by a foriegn object (most probably a 20 cent coin or bobby pin/s), if you can hear it working as normal but still no water it may have a blockage sumwhere along the drain pipe either that or the impellor has snapped off the shaft and is ratteling around and not actually turning, and with the spin that is directly related to yor drain pump issue as the washer will not even attempt to spin if water remains in the tub, incredibly easy to do hit me back if you want detailed instructions

if the pump is working all the time then it will be the program board
make sure that after you replaced the pump the drain hose outlet was higher than the tub or all the water will run out

I have no power to the display board on my washing machine, is there a fuse somewhere, a reset procedure, or am I looking at replacing the PCB's

Under the machine inside the cabinet, should be
a diagnostic manual, taped up there, hiding in a bag

You may very well have to replace the control board,
if all tests pass

You have to be able to use a volt meter on live circuit
boards & back probe the connectors, as you do to
test a car

My LG WT-R807 8KG top loader washing machine will not rinse or spin I have a huge load in there at the moment. Have removed most of washing from it still won't drain. Have tried turning machine off and...

Did you try it in other cycles (delicate, permanent press, etc.)? The more symptoms - what works and doesn't allows better advice. Because right now it could be the control board, the timer, the drain pump and more.

Also you need to give us the model number off the id tag in your unit since that once keeps coming back as invalid.

LG Turbo Drum Dd WT R902 wont pump out water , I have unblocked it and if i put the hose on the ground the water gravity pumps out, but when i put the hose back up it stops, it will spin but not pump

did you take the hoses off both sides of the pump. turn the pump impeller to make sure it turns free. at radio shack you can get a meter for $15.00 to check for power to the pump if it's getting power and it spins free by hand replace it. if no power during drain time it's a bad wire to it or bad control board
