I would start by removing the batteries from the remote to be sure that isn't turning it on, if that isn't the issue there may be an issue with the main board and it needs replacing.

SOURCE: panasonic viera tv won't turn on. Power light

hello, you have a either your su, sd or sc boards fualty and it is a driver sos1 thats what the manual reads the best thing to do if your not electronically inclined or able to fix it is to get a service manual and make sure it is for your specific model and size you will find what the 7 blink codes mean, on my side i have a 42 in pana the service manual for this set and your is similar so since it is not the same model i cant tell you exactly what the truoble is but your best bet is to find a service manual find the 7 blink fualt then without getting ripped off you will know what the service man needs to do if you dont know or cant replace the parts yourself that is besides having to download firmware from your computer to a sd card and update your set but you need to solve the blinking code first it may solve the entire issue. the tv should come on when you resolve the blink codes or replace the fualty board or boards

SOURCE: Panasonic viera Plasma TV model TH-P42X10A The tv

Hello,

The power supply board of the television is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I hope this will help in solving the problem....

Hi, I have a Panasonic TC-P50S2 Viera Plasma TV that has died. Basically Iwant to know if this is worth the time and $$ to repair? Are parts available for me to DIY this?

Good make and it is an HD model with good reviews. It is about 10 years old. It really depends of if fancy a new one or not.

I don't advise against home television repair. We see about 10 questions a day here of people who replace boards and still have a non working television. You need the experience and the test equipment.

??How to fix a PANASONIC PLASMA TC-P60UT50

Could be the SC, but also might be either the SU/ SD causing the SC to go into protect. Pretty easy to determine, if you look at the SU SD and see any holes or burn cracks that would be the problem. Let me know if this works or can help further.

Panasonic Viera TC-37LZ85 powers on with a solid red light that does not blink, the screen slightly illuminates but no picture. Blown fuse?

T'Con board fault. In some models of LCD TVS; the backlight inverter and its T'Con board will be a part of the panel itself, and will be a built-in type inside the LCD panel. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

I have a panasonic viera TC-50S1 i turned it on yhe picture was messed up .. it shut off and will not turn back on the red light keeps blinking one time

Assuming you meant TC-P50S1, as TC-50S1 is not a valid model, 1 blink code means suspect bad A board (main board). Below is a link to the parts list for that TV model.

Sounds like soft player problem. If this is directly from SD card on TV, then must be it. <br />Fix:<br />1) quick: - use HTPC or HDD external media-player. <br />2) slow - go after Pan tech support to upgrade the frimware (customer reps are useless).<br />
