Does it have spark ??? I would check that first, and IF it does maybe add a tablespoon of gas down the sparkplug hole then try it..

Replace the spark plug being sure to use the plug recommended in your owner manual, and the gap recommended. Then clean or replace the air filter. Finally use high test, new gasoline. Not gas that has been sitting around for months. good luck

Hello. Here is the order of things for your truck. The engine firing order for either 4.6L or 5.4L V8 is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. Cylinders are numbered, 1-2-3-4 on the passenger side bank of cylinders beginning at the front of the engine. Cylinders are numbered, 5-6-7-8 on the driver side bank again, beginning from the front of the engine to the back.
Soooooooo the number 6 is the second one from the front of the engine on the drivers side.

Check engine oil.
Remove wire from low oil sensor and the start.
Replace low oil sensor.
